Hello everyone, due to some interest by some I decided to post in order to share my progress.
As the title states; i'm 18 years of age. Noticed balding when I was around 17 and didn't do much about it til October 13th of 2017.

My current Regime consists of the following:
Minoxidil Kirkland (2x-day:morning and night)
Nizoral (4x week)
Derma (2x week)

I'm also taking vitamins such as Vitamin D, Multi Vitamins etc. Also taking Biotin 10,000 MCG but it doesn't do much for hair loss except make your hair grow at a faster pase.

Pictures are described.

Any comments feedback, output etc are appreciated... If you want to see other pictures or have any questions feel free to ask. thanks

Posting because a lot of teens at my age go through hair loss but don't get much help,, and since finasteride. is potentially dangerous at 16-18 there are other treatments to go by. Might not seem like extremely much thinning or hair loss but I decided to use treatment asap because both sides of are balding... father uncles grand dad etc. Hopefully jumping on Finasteride before 19.

The density in the most recent picture looks much better. But seriously, if you want to keep detailed progress picture, do something about the lighting. The conditions aren't really even close to consistent. Outside of that nitpick, congratulations on your regrowth!

Alright, I'm assuming the picture ''2 weeks ago'' is the most inconsistent. I'll post better pics today of my current state

Looks good. Most of us here are sticklers when it comes to lighting for comparison pics. I use the same room, light source, and camera for all my pics as it helps for more accurate progress tracking. The fact that you're responding well and this early means even better results are coming up.

Thanks. I was considering adding a dht-inhibitor since I've read that they lose all their gains of Minoxidil after a year or so which has honestly made me a bit anxious. I'm just worried about stunting my growth for now tho since I'm only 18

I wouldn't really recommend antiandrogens until 20. Some may say otherwise, but if what you have is working then continue it until you feel comfortable to start fina. Minoxidil gives you gains, but doesn't stop the balding process.

Yeah... that'll be the plan now. Hoping that my current regime will sustain me til at least 19-20 so I can jump on finasteride asap. Birth day is in a bit over half a year so I think I'll make it in time so to speak. When did you begin with finasteride if you don't mind me asking? Any side effects? Thanks.

Early October. Watery semen the first month which returned to normal. High libido the first couple weeks followed by lowered libido the next few weeks then it evened out. Nothing major like ED or gyno.

When you used derrma, you put minoxidil after?

No bro. I dermaroll 2x/week and basically what I do is the following:
1. I wait 12 hours after applying Minoxidil
2. Wash it off with Nizoral
3. Dermaroll where I have thinning/recession
4. Wait 12 hours before I apply minoxidil again. This step is crucial! Applying minoxidil after derma rolling will mot likely cause side effects, because Minoxidil will enter your system.

I learned this from:

Have you seen further improvements following your regimen?

Very impressive results btw

Hey, yeah I've improved. Currently been on finasteride for about a month now aswell. I'll update in a month or two if I see good results again.
