Why cant you take pills? If you really cant start any treatment, then shave it off, and if it doesnt look good = hair system.

It would look better buzzed IMO. If you are scared of sexual sides I would strongly suggest using something topically. Most guys are scared of meds and end up regretting it.

Maybe you could try minoxidil+microneedeling? There are also things such as minoxidil that has finasteride in it.I mean its up to you-either give up and shave or start battling against hairloss.
Your hair is not going to grow back on its own.If you buzz it really low its going to grow back even thinner.
And of course,If buzzing it all down does not bother you just do it...

we have almost the same age, i am 19 years, (i am french haha), i started to lost my hair when i had 18 years like you, during the octobre month, but, i use finasteride and different complements for my hair loss.

I think finasteride is a good thing for improving the quality of hair, and I lose less hair

if you have any questions, tell me i will try to help you :)

You have a very good chance of recovery with treatments, why on earth would you buzz it down? madness.
Agreed, nowadays you can prevent balding, really. You will just need the proper treatment fitting for you.

No it's not that simple. The only way is to gamble with finasteride and hope you don't get sides. However unless you're already NW7 you don't have to be bald anymore as long as you have some resources and awareness.

I am destined to be bald early, got the worst genes I could get. And I assure you, I will recover from this very soon :)

PS: no RISK, no FUN lol

If you respond well to finasteride you might. Otherwise you will have to live with a certain degree of hair loss. But you can slow it down with a very strict regimen.

Finasteride won't help me. My hair loss is too aggressive. I have to plan out my next steps and possible backdoors, what I am doing right now.

Just a little reminder, Finasteride works only for people with mild hair loss, it decreases the PSA level by -25%. No wonder it doesn't work effectivly for many others, as the rest; 75% are further damaging the pilosebaceous unit, and don't allow it to regenerate (by growth stimulants <- eg.)

Yeah, what about duatesteride then? Isn't it stronger?

It is, it blocks 90% of 5ARII and even the other 2 types. But as you know, DHT is not the ultimate cause of ANDROgenetic Alopecia. The fact, why man lose hair, is, that the follicles, or the tissue is just genetically too sensitive to androgens.
TO ALL ANDROGENS.

Now, it's your job to make them stop working (on the scalp) and you finished it with male pattern baldness.

Remember; castrated men don't go bald. Simple: castrate your scalp.

It's not only DHT, it's even-more as well T and many others...
