You honestly don’t need to .

You have a teenagers hairline . I think your dad being an NW7 has made you cautious that genetically you could do down this route and maybe in the future you will but definitely no sign now .

honestly switch off worrying and check every six months . Unless you see any signs don’t explore meds or bloods . Waste of money and energy .

Thanks for your message- is definitely NW1 at least, they say best cause of action is prevention as well but if got sides would come off. Hair around hairline seems a little thinner too in certain lightings. And temples are a bit dodgy imo now

First sign I had of balding was shedding in shower. Saw 50 to 100 hairs every time. A lot of people say thst 50-100 is normal, BUT this is just in the shower, not while asleep, walking, being outside, etc. Another sign was hair on pillow.

Check your pillow and get a hair trap in the shower. Also check your hair under lighting for thinning. I unfortunately had poor lighting in my bathroom and never caught it in time. Now I'm heading to Norwood 3.

Not shedding many hairs tbh, but my hairline or bit just behind is looking a little thinner in certain lightings ngl. Still NW1 region but yeah im paranoid as hair loss insidious

A bit concerned, in some lightings now the hair looks thinner near middle front of hair, is this just my roots or is this thinning? Attached pics i am still NW1 territory but if this is thinning is concerning. Any

Is this legit thinning? Im gonna make an appointment with a Trichologist and if confirmed I'll get finasteride. So odd this when I am NW1 still ffs. Also odd nothing on my crown just in the front hairline/ middle where looks like root parting but defo looks thinner especially in harsh light

Exactly the hairline i had when i started finasteride , and now i am worse . So enjoy it , it is a great hairline .

And i am even worse 5 years later ( despite being on duta+ topical min + oral min) while you are still at baseline....

God sake lol, i will keep updating this thread as my fear of hairloss is incredible due to dad being a NW7 and i realise the importance of maintaining hair. Am a little
Worried as can see front if hairline roots in mirror and can see some scalp after shower but could be normal. How old are you? Im still only 24 so is plenty of time for reaper unfortunately
