Then add minoxidil to thicken your crown

Yeh gunna wait until August for minoxidil as want to wait to see a bit what happens with just finasteride and nizoral

---- One more little post before I wait until more time has past for another update ----

My hair is really fine so I normally just use a bit of wax to style it but I rarely bother as it always looks sh*t so I normally have it just flat... but when I do style it around the hairline looks likes its missing hair, is this what people see in real life or just camera? And I am guessing minoxidil is best to help this when I add it.

I know I am spamming this forum but always have so many questions.

I want to prepare everything correctly so I can stop worrying and patiently wait for results. What I want to know is which smapoos do you lot use for hairloss. Normally my routine is Nizoral 2x a week and on the other 5 days I use just any shampoo I can find, no conditioner just a shampoo like Head and Shouldners, Tresemee or whatever ha.

Any shampoos you guys use that you can throw at me to use in between the nizoral would be helpful cheers

7 week update:

I am trying to not post as much but cant help it, I enjoy the progress and the forum haha. Although hoping for more repliew guys...

I want to keep posting pics and showing progression as it helps me to notice differences.

2 and a half months:

Dont even notice any sides any more. Feel fine, infact I have managed to get a girlfriend now so miracles do happen

Just posting some pics for anyone interested, with different lightings and angles.

I am hoping the temples fill in a bit as I hate the thin patch I have on it when I style, the sun makes it look sh*t

Also I have not started minoxidil yet as too much hassle but planning to soon. Wanted to try finasteride on own first.

Well I mean she probably thinks I have sh*t hair, no idea haha. But she hasn't mentioned it, even though I think its pretty noticeable :/

Will do mate! I am 3 months in and not sure if it is better or worse but will keep going. Hoping just to maintain for years.

I sometimes get weak erections but some days horny as f*** so doesnt bother me haha.

Just seeking some opinions if people could reply.

My hair still feels thin ane hard to style, especially by the temples... I want to know what haircut to get as it looks so goofy right now even though only just got it trimmed.

From the front it almost looks ok but the sides show my Norwood 3 baaaad. Cant believe people dont mention it to me.

Anyway here are some pics, and I am still on finasteride.

Dude keep going, I am 24-year-old guy who is in similar situation as you.

People won't usually mention you going bald before you really have a bald spot on top of your head. I have noticed that temples won't get that much attention, although it bothers receding guys really badly - like me. I often look at guys who have good temples, they can style their hair so easily and therefore have more options.

But anyways, you'll never know if permanent solution is available in next 3 years so until then I hope you can keep your hair and regrow some! Keep us updated also if you get any more sides from finasteride, seems like you are fine though.

I am trying to keep going but it has been 3 months and I feel my hair is thinning out more and more, especially round the temples...

Is this due to a shed maybe and that finasteride is working? Or will it just get worse?

I will definately be patient but it has never been this thin since starting finasteride. Cant cover it up now and hair looks sh*t.

Even at the 3 month mark? When I put my hands through my hair for a minute not as many hairs come out as opposed to last month. So maybe it has stopped but my hair looks really thin around the hairline and I feel as if it is getting further back

Yeah could be possible. Just stick to it at least six months total. I mean you've gotten this far so fight till the end to see how it pans out.

In this lighting it looks so odd ha. You can see an outline and thin hair around. Is this normal??
