20m. Give It To Me Straight,how Bad Is It?

This IS the worst lightning condition i can get to expose my hairline. At normal lightning and my hair styled It doesnt look like i am receding or thinning,but i always have a hard time styling It. Always had a big forehead,but im for sure thinning and right now i cant afford finasteride. I need to know as well what norwood i am right now If you dont mind.

It looks good. You don’t look like you’re thinning or balding. But I also didn’t see the top of your head either. Does balding run in the family? If so maybe consider jumping on generic finasteride, which is super cheap, to catch it early especially if you’ve noticed thinning.

Yes,balding runs in my family. My older Brother is a NW3.5 at 32,my dad was a diffuse thinner with receding temples too. My grandpa on my mother's side is 80 and he still got his hair,maybe a NW2.

I wetted It yesterday and shampooed 2 days ago,not sure why It looks like i have not been washing my hair for the last month LMAO.

I don't know man,i started noticing some thinning on my left temple at 18/19,but i always had my haircut short and slicked to the left,covering my left temple,where there is the recession. I have been growing my hair for 9 months and since then i part my hair to the right now,and i realized my left temple is uneven and somewhat receded,whilst my left temple temple is holding tight. I have been noticing my hairline receding as well,in the last 2 years.

Yes i have been noticing recession,mainly on my left temple and front of hairline. There would be babyhairs on my widows peak(front of hairline) and fell off to never grow again.

Also,my hair texture and family history scares me the most. I have Very Fine,thin hair and the front of my hairline is weak,because of the Fine strands.

However, i will Hop on finasteride asap. I would rather keep what i got RN than wait longer,lose more ground and start when It is too late

Yea if you’re that worried about it. Go ahead and jump on a low dose of Finasteride. You’ll be good for 10+ years.

I think your hair looks great, where you from? You could try the first protocols like minoxidil, derma roller, laser, hair oils, etc.

I wish. I may not suffer from male pattern baldness,i think thats why its so hard to notice my thinning through pictures. I am a diffuse thinner unfortunately... Took this pic today under harsh lightning exposing my left temple. Note: My hair is oily,so It looks worse

Balding is silent killer ,it come very silently and when we notice it it been already late.I don't think you are balding but keeping watch on hairs is worth it. Right now you are "OK".

Don't listen to those fools. You can't be balding. Balding men have big and expanded galeas and you don't. You are Norwood 1. Wash your hair and take a photo. I am sure that it won't look thin.

I can tell there is some diffuse around the temple area. Be proactive and don't listen to con artists.
