21 years old losing at the crown desperate

Your crown looks perfectly normal given the inherent attributes of your hair. Dark hair against light skin will always display scalp where the hair naturally changes direction. Throw in strong lighting, camera exposure and short hair and the situation looks far worse than the reality.
You might not be balding at all. The surrounding hair around your crown / cowlick looks very healthy, a stronger indication that you might not have any thinning. Keep an eye on your hair but don’t obsess. If you notice any genuine deterioration see a derm. I’m twice your age with similar hair. Due to same crown I thought I was losing it years ago, never changed.

But how can this only be lightning?
All that photo is displaying is scalp visible between hair strands due to contrast difference ie v dark hair on very light scalp and the natural ‘round’ of you head at that angle, which can be perfectly normal, particularly in people with short straight hair. Go look around and you see it even in children. I often see this attribute in east asian people also.
So you might not be losing hair bud and to me you hair looks very healthy.
But you know the reality better than anyone so if you have concerns see a derm who specialises in hair loss.
My friend is starting to thin at the crown and you can see the gradual loss of density right across the area. The hair quality looks poor, almost feather like.

I don’t think that means it’s aggressive. It just started early. If it doesn’t get worse then it isn’t aggressive
