I got a haircut (a lot shorter) today and this is how my crown looks like now (wet hair: one normal 5 min. after shower, one where I made a parting in the middle).

I do feel horrible. As said, I'm already on minoxidil for over 3 years and on finasteride for over 2 years. I have no clear before pictures (although I'll look some more), but I'm pretty sure I had no crown thinning.

Are these pictures proof of crown thinning or not? I really want honest opinions, because there's still a lot I can do to fight this.

No, I don't think so. That is just your natural cowlick and the way you come your hair (against the grain) may exaggerate the cowlick further which gives the illusion of a thin crown. Your hair density looks great; nothing to worry about. I do see some miniaturization on your frontal hairline and temples, but their distribution seems pretty uniform and it doesn't look like male pattern baldness. Temporal hairs will recede--this is natural, but how much they recede determines if you're suffering from Androgenetic Alopecia.

If I reach your state with my current regimen, I'll be so happy.

You are fine or you are troll.

Koga - seriously, shrieking in the morning isn't necessary :)

We are our own worst enemies sometimes - your hair looks really good - and I'd say that's a pretty normal crown for someone with your type of hair.

I think the sarcastic comments on here are a sign that you can relax a little.
