Re: *! HEROES OF HAIRLOSS !*

i have to add, the funny thing is he told me he still isn't satisfied with his temples. This shocked me because i would kill for that hair since it looks so similar to the way mine used to be a few years back. Haha, i guess once you get it back you just keep wanting more!

There was a guy called English who posted right after i joined who made some really good progress. I searched for his topics but i guess he erased the pictures. Either way, he inspired me to start meds.

Re: *! HEROES OF HAIRLOSS !*

bump! Hey Dogs3, have you had any luck finding that Therapro conditioner or had a try of Nightline's concoction yet?

I'm interested in having a go at it, problem is getting this conditioner to Australia is looking like a real pain in the arse and could end up way more expensive than it's worth. Still, his hair did look just like straw before (pretty much how mine is now) but by the end of the tenth month it looks amazing. I haven't found a good way to get rid of scalp and hair dryness yet so this could be just what I need.

Re: *! HEROES OF HAIRLOSS !*

masculineyourheart, yeah i did buy the conditioner actually and i use it around 3 times a week or so. I didn't end up making Nightline's whole conction because frankly it just seems liek it may become a hassle and get pretty expensive(because he also throws in dr proctor's nano) over time. Also because he uses like 3/4 of this conditioner as the base anyway. So i thought i'd just give the conditioner itself a shot.

Anyway, I gotta say that it is good stuff and worth the buy. I use it after shampooing with either johnsons baby shampoo or nizoral around 3 times a week and it makes your hair feel like it did before you started using minoxidil. Im not sure if you mentioned if you use minoxidil or not, but you know what I mean when your hair gets all dried out from the alcohol in the minoxidil? We'll this conditioner helps hydrate your hair back to normal and leaving it pretty soft. I was so impressed that i ended up using it like 4 days in a row, this turned out to be bad though because it left my hair kind of frizzy, no big deal though, i just cut it down to 3 times a week and its working out well.

I'd recommend it, you can try buying it here http://www.amazon.com/THERAPRO-THERAPEU ... B000NWASBG

Its too early to tell if my hair is going to start looking like nightline's, haha, but i certainly wouldnt mind. Anyway, it seems like his concoction is probably better than the conditioner alone but from my experience the conditioner alone is proving to be a good addition to any regimen that uses minoxidil.

Cool, thanks man, I'll give it a go. Nightline's gains were pretty damn impressive, he said he was spending around $150 a month on his routine though, not sure if I'm ready for that kind of investment yet. ;)

Did you notice on that website that the Therapro bottle looks different to all the other online shops that come up on the first few pages of Google? On the other ones the bottle's a 6 oz or a 12 oz too. Ah, if it's working for you who gives a sh*t, hey.

Re: HEROES OF HAIRLOSS - Sticky for good responders

I'd definitely add SE-Freak, Strange Karma, first, and brentx to the list.

Also, just wanted to bump this because it gives me immense hope, and hopefully will do the same for others who haven't seen it.

Dietcola and Defenton's stories particularly hit home for me and are major inspirations.

mj9's hairloss pattern and recovery is almost identical to SE-Freak's. Moral of the story: There is hope for you guys with black hair that get crown balding in the shape of the batman symbol...

Re: HEROES OF HAIRLOSS - Sticky for good responders

Wow this is upsetting. I’d just hold in there, it happened to this guy, who has a similar pattern to you. http://www.hairlosstalk.com/discussions ... 94&start=0

He also lost all his hair on medication after a great improvement, makes me wonder why diffuse thinners are so sensitive with results than losing it all? Obviously doesn’t happen to every diffuse thinner but there seems to be a correlation with awesome results but awful setbacks.

Just hold it out for a year and a half, it certainly isn’t time to throw in the towel just yet.
