4 days of dutasteride=Test spike?

finasteride user for ten years. Dropped it a week ago and took my 4th Dutas today.

This morning and yesterday morning (sorry for too much info. here) I woke up with RAGING morning wood-something I hadn't had with finasteride for awhile. It even woke me up in the middle of the night!

My libido is as high as its been in years.

And lastly-and this is weird-my scalp hurts. It doesn't itch or burn, but hurts like someone's pulling on it. Don't know if its related.

You think it's possible to have a test spike so soon or is it coincedence?

yea i had same thing when i switched to dutasteride. becarefull on dutasteride i switched from finasteride after it been doin good in hopes of dutasteride being better, if you been on finasteride 10 years im guessing it worked. Some times alot of people react badly to a dutasteride switch i hope the best though. Id say first week on dutasteride was good then after that got shutdown hard.

What do you mean by shut down hard?

I moved on to dutasteride because finasteride stopped working for me.

When did this occur Phish? How did it affect your hair?

id say first week or so everything was good then after went to sh*t with libido. I was only on 2 months so i cant really say what it did to my hair. My libido came back quick when i stoped it though but because i was taking testosterone steroids. I do think that if u you responded to finasteride dutasteride should help.
