I think your being pretty paranoid. Your hair looks good to me.

naw man. I'm going bald. and it's really aggressive male pattern baldness.

thin as hell in the front.

now i'm not saying that there arnt people worse off. what i am saying is that less than a year ago you could grab my hair with two hands and pull and not get any hairs..

now all you have to do is take a shower or run your fingers though my hair and you'll snag a couple.

my head itches so badly it hurts

well I lose roughly 50 hairs a day in the shower...

my look has changed quite a bit since last August. I used glue in my hair then, now i have to fluff it up with a comb and blow dry it.

(noone gimmie that nonsence about 50-150 is normal etc, it might be true, but you dont experience it all in 5 min period... )

It's because during that 5 minute period, you're dislodging most of the daily shed (due to treatment) by spraying your head with water and rubbing shampoo into your hair. It's pure mechanical removal.

During the course of the day, the shedding hairs will move into a state whereby they'll fall out. Well, they just don't leap off your head in most cases. Something has to help them along - like running your hand through, showering, brushing, whatever. Think of it as a bank of bum hair that accumulates until you make a withdrawal.

It's pretty certain that if you took several showers back to back that you wouldn't get that quanity each and every time. Sure, a few more might come out...but 50 hairs are not falling out every 5 minutes my friend....

PS: Your hair looks good. Stay the course.

Hair and hairline look great to me. It doesn't even look that thin, but I'm sure it hurts when under bright lights or under the sun.

It'll thicken up, Jeff. Be consistent! At least you don't have the receding hairline, like I do.

Yeah man, right on about the receding hair line....If you got the straight hairline, it won't look like you're going bald at all - even if you are. There are SO many options, like poofing it up, using a good molding puddy, or just straight out shaving it.

You could always use couvre or dermatch as a last-resort option, but your hair looks good to me man.

hey try taking some pics with your hair dry.

It gives a better indication of how your hair looks.

Dude you have a perfect hairline. I recall you said your age was around 26 or 27. Here is a tip, you are pissing everyone off. I am only 22 and I am pushing a norwood 2.5 now. If I had the option of still spiking my hair I would be happy, but no I am now forced to shave my head with a zero. You have over 1000 posts dude come on man enjoy life.

I'm 26, and my hairline isnt perfect. do you see the size of my forehead?? i'm not receeding in typical male pattern baldness.. and my hair is diffuse thinning which is why i'm not a Norwood anything.

Gel distorts the way your hair really looks.

I dunno for me when I spike up my hair with gel I can see alot more scalp than I could with my hair dry.

Jeff, I'm 29 and my hair is almost like yours! I worry about my hair too!!!

My dad and maternal grandfather also had/have bad hair loss. I totally know how you feel. I like looking young.. i'm very sentimental about a lot of things, plus I'm the type of person that hates scratches or blemishes on things I have. Losing hair is another one of those things i want to hold onto for the rest of my life... I hate seeing my scalp through the light!

You should stop using the gel and try the KMS Moulding Paste. Try messing up your hair and then parting it a bit from the side. I used to have the 'messy look' but a few ppl noticed my hair loss, so now I use the style I just mentioned to you.
