No my dear Friend. I think i gained weigh due to eating more in experience of throwing smoking cigaretes. I was smoking cigarretes like 5 years continously. Obviously i am eating more now which ofcourse it making me happy.

Good for you on quitting cigarettes!!!! Smoking damages your follicles badly too. It puts lots of oxidizing free radicals into your bloodstream and will turn your hair gray prematurely. I recently quit smoking myself, and wish I'd done that years ago.

You know what Whatever?....
I'm wondering if maybe i should add Estro Gel instead of the Alpicort. Astro Gel is MUCH stronger of course, but my vertex is sh*t & so are my temples.

Estrogel is like 10X the amount of estradiol than Alpicort.
I've already got some on the way.

Only one way to find out.

Ima gonna find out!
I'll let everyone here know too.

Oh yes, quitting smoking alone can improve hair growth for people with AA, it may have been an important factor for OP, young people who smoke always deny having poor health, it isnt until they quit they realise how weak and useless they used to be while smoking.

Best of all, its so easy to quit smoking, theres no bad withdrawal symptoms, quitting coffee is much harder and make you really physically ill for several days. Quitting smoking has NO serious consequences, theres no excuse for not quitting, no need to reduce, no plan needed, just quit cold turkey, no problem. But if you take nicorette or similar youre doomed to fail, i have posted about the danger of nicorette on many websites previously and gotten only positive feedback from people who finally tried to quit without nicorette and succeeded immediately, nicorette had fuelled their addiction for up to 15 years and made sure they failed to quit again and again and again. Same goes for all products containing nicotine, do NOT use them if you want to quit smoking.

I had a little bit of withdrawal from the 3 times I've quit smoking... for the first 3 days after going cold turkey, I sometimes feel so edgy like I'm ready to pull my fingernails off with pliers. But after 3 days, nothing, it's over and I can carry on. What always starts me back up again is going out drinking with a group of friends where everyone is smoking. Coming out as trans has pretty much eliminated almost half of that group however. :-/

I probably need to seriously curtail my drinking as well. I once went 2 years without a drop of alcohol just to prove to myself I could do it. I did give up beer when I started my big diet that got me to lose 50 lbs in 8 months. I could quit all distilled spirits too and hop on the wagon again, except maybe for a glass of wine with dinner a couple times a week since a reasonable portion of red wine with a meal is actually healthy for the body and the snobby brands of wine I love are too damn expensive to drink just for entertainment/catch-a-buzz purposes.

Coffee on the other hand, I love to drink it every morning for breakfast, but I can also easily stop and go for weeks without any. It's also got a lot of potassium in it too, which ain't good in combination with the spironolactone in my HRT regimen. I've been only drinking a half cup since I started the spironolactone, and may just drop it altogether and start drinking tea instead.

Giving up coffee? madness...
Not really, if you are a heavy coffee drinker you have to reduce your consumption before going on long journeys, so many people had their vacation in China ruined by caffeine withdrawal, once you enter the not so urban areas the availability becomes smaller and you often dont have time to drink enough coffee. AS you know, once the withdrawal symptoms start you cant just drink 2 cups of strong coffee and get well, lots of heavy caffeine users end up flat out for at least a whole day, most with only excruciating headaches but some will throw up almost like a heroin or opioid addict in withdrawal.
I once got a flu in Malaysia and was unable to get any caffeine that day, when the withdrawal added to the flu symptoms i got really sick, it was a truly horrible experience, i had Dengue fever before but it wasn't nearly as terrible.

If you drink only a little coffee in the morning its unusual to get withdrawal, yes.
Your nicotine withdrawal symptoms are not physical illness like you get from caffeine or milder cases of opioid withdrawal. But yeah, yu may not feel too great. Anyway it only lasts 2, max 3 days, and its not really coz you need nicotine, its more that the body dont have nicotine to regulate the bloodsugar, so you get jumpy and nervous similar to symptoms of hypoglycaemia for many. Once the body returns to normal bloodsugar control on the second day the nervousness is gone for good.

The spironolactone is also a big time diuretic, so when combined with drinking too much coffee, it makes you have to go pee like every 15-20 minutes, and as everyone knows, us transgender folk just love the freakin' hell out of public restrooms.

Did someone notice good effect of minoxidil on scalp skin? I had some inflammation on my scalp before I start minoxidil and it's gone after 1 week of usage.

Also my skin feels better in place where I apply minoxidil.

It might be possible in due to boosting your blood preasure there and its vitalizing your skin also. But its only teory.

Anyway, positive things during regimen always make you fell beter even if hair dont grow. If it helps somehow - stick with it.

Feel free to ask, bro :) And yeah, give minoxidil time.

After 1 month baby hairs started to sprout. So quickly as hell. But also after a year i lost half of gains but still above above baseline. Thick NW1.5 / 2. So pretty fine.

Also higher percentage of minoxidil is useless. I am on 16% like 3 months and no better results. Will switch regimen to

5% minoxidil
Ru 4%
Topical estradiol
Keto
Caffeine

Hello, what was the effect of RU (baby hairs). Did you gain anything positive by using RU. There are many people claiming RU helps, but I never saw real growing from it. (No before after pictures about RU)

Well, i bought 3g of RU half year ago, and still i have it in freezer. I never used it, but january will be great time to get it tested and buy a half-year supply for my upcoming tests. I will mix it with 60ml kirkland minoxidil as vehicle.

And for sure, there will be log about it.
