Ok team here are the pictures. On the left Oct and right 4 are from Jan. I never took a picture of the top of my head in October but wish I did. However I will take more pictures in three months time.

Regarding the minoxidil I am positive it has helped cause some thickening and heaps of little white hairs occured. Yes I did have a light shed of the really thin hair all threw December but seems to have stopped. The shed was nothing compared to October. I am really glad I did the minoxidil. If the temples fill in a bit more and the type of my head thickens I will be happy.

with the top of head shot thats with a lot of product in the hair and the flash on. it doesnt look to bad with the flash off and can't really see the scalp.

Any questions shoot away team. Just remember its been a year for this sh*t to do anything so takes a while.

I was on propecia and Rogaine 5% for about 7 months. I started with the minoxidil and I remember experiencing a major shedding just after the first week. I lowered the dose and started with propecia and two months latter my hair started to grow thicker. On December I stop taking the propecia for about 20 days and now I’m back on it. I’ve been on it now again for 12 days (Never stop the minoxidil) and I’m experiencing the worst shedding ever. My main problem was in the crown, but this shedding is going on all over, especially on the top front.

Do you think this could possibly have been stopping the propecia just for 20 days? Or is it possible to be experiencing the shedding for starting with it again?
I don’t know how mucho time should I wait before I decide to have an implant procedure.

This sh….. is affecting my whole life.

That is a nice rebound. I hope my head can do the same for me in a few months.

I'm bumping this thread for NEWBIES and possible UPDATES.

Messmorph, any new pictures you can show us?

How's the hair doing?

What's your opinion of Propecia, given that it's been clear over an entire year?

Had another huge shed in May which I am just recovering from. It shed the same place as before but a little back more too. Annoying thing is after each shed the hair grows back but not quite as thick and consistent. I will post pictures in a month or so of the progress.

I dont think I am maintaining and slowing going backwards. However going to switch to Advoart once I use up my last 3 months of Propecia and see how I go.

I'd give it at least another three months, you're right. "Shedding" is such a random thing anyway - the only thing worth taking note of how the hair on your head looks, not how much you lose.

If pictures show you are indeed going consistently backwards over a longish period, then make the switch if you feel like it. Otherwise keep riding it out like you did last time :)
