From what I've read and yes as it's been said speculating is pointless but none the less 10 years I think is an extreme time line by the sounds of things according to the way the phase II trials where going it will be about 3 to 4 more years before it's widely available, but even then it will still be in the perfecting phase.
My only problem is that if everything goes well then bosley will get first dibbs on buying the rights to be the main distributor and bosleys a hair transplant company so they will charge an arm and a leg for the procedure that will be making their forte obsolete, bosley has a terrible reputation among a lot of hair transplant recipients on their ways of giving horrible hair transplants and making it basically a necessity for you to come back in and get 2 or 3 more done just to fix the mess they gave you thus making more money..and they even say"A hair transplant may seem expensive but think about propecia..yes it's only 60 a month but add that up over a lifetime and you will conclude one single hair transplant is much cheaper in the long run. Even though any hair transplant surgeon will tell you to continue the use of propecia because they don't want to chase baldness some won't even do a hair tansplant procedure unless you have been on propecia for a year + in case the hair transplant causes a massive shed at the recipient site. Basically I see them as a dodgy company and not one Id be happy about going to for the procedure when It's available to the public.

I've heard bad things about Bosley, I hope some doctors in Canada might do it.

I'm just worried how much it will cost. I hope it is less than $15,000 for the front half of the head, at least a year after it comes out. I think it will be hear soon. Why would Bosley pay so much to be sole distributers?

This doesn't cross my mind in the slightest. I am just concerned with how long it will take to be released because there are things called 'loans.'

Optimistically speaking, I would say it'd be at LEAST 5 years until something decent comes out.

I agree on it...even HM did come out, I won't be the first ones to try it
