Oh boo hoo, poor Chad who'd been living life on cloud 9 his whole life got dealt a sh*t hand out of the blue, due to the misdiagnosis of an STD he probably contracted from one of his 20 f*** buddies, and now will have to live with artificial limbs? How awful! All cynicism aside, yeah it sucks this happened to him. At the same time though, you have to stop & think if he wasn't a Chad & instead was Norwood 4 and looked like a gargoyle, would he even have a chance with his crowdfunding campaign? There's no doubt he'll meet the goal, mostly because he's good looking and these media outlets will sensationalize stories like this because the victim is "omg so cute <3!1111!!"Well , i am almost 2 years depressed cause hair loss, all the day thinking how hair loss ruined my life at 25 years old, thinking to suicide if i cant find a solution to a slick bald head...
Today i came to this article : https://www.google.com.ar/amp/s/www...hat-bungling-doctors-mistook-for-the-flu/amp/
I feel like a totally sh*t , i feel like a totally stupid idiot obsessed with “hairs”. Now i think the real problem wasnt hair loss but my stupid vanity. Its time to forget the past and focus to live the life like man not like a vanity kid.
I'm sure vanity is a large part of why a lot of men try to fight hair loss, but for me and many others it's the halo effect associated with healthy looking hair vs. a receding bird's nest. Whether you care about hair is one thing, but ultimately it doesn't matter since society as a whole WILL judge you based on your hair. This is true whether you're trying to ask a woman out, are going in for a job interview, meeting prospective customers, giving presentations, or even getting good service at a restaurant. First impressions are everything, and your hair/face is the first thing most people will see in you. What do you think looks better, having a full Norwood 3 or below, or looking like some cancer patient with a diffusing Norwood 4+? I couldn't care less about my own personal appearance to be honest, but what is important to me is not being treated like a leper, and basically if you look like sh*t people will assume you're a sh*t person. That's the halo effect in a nutshell.
tl;dr: You can insist your hair loss isn't a big deal & it doesn't bother you, but don't say society won't care because they will.
