Don't just say "fiber", say SOLUBLE fiber. Be specific.

Oh go snort some (non-specific)vinegar. :shakehead:
INSOLUBLE has been shown to also be beneficial..but anyone reading the links I provided can see it's even a certain type/brand of fiber I'm "specifically" "saying". Reading it will teach you why.

Of course it has. But for the specific purposes mentioned in this thread like controlling blood sugar and insulin, lowering cholesterol, etc., soluble fiber is much more effective than INsoluble fiber.

Any kind of soluble fiber should have roughly similar effects. I just don't want people to be reading quickly through this thread and see your single word "fiber" without bothering to read your two links, and assume that ALL fiber (even insoluble fiber) has the insulin-controlling effect being discussed here.

Personally, I've almost always been very precise when discussing fiber. When I refer to the specific beneficial effects of soluble fiber, I'm careful to specify soluble fiber. When discussing the favorable effects of insoluble fiber, I'm careful to specify insoluble fiber.

Much more effective..as PGX is much more effective(less needed even)...but INsoluble still is effective.

I'm sure they'll live.

As for the vinigar works great, only problem is that you would need it in capsule for as you need to take it every single time at the time of meal or it is worthless.

That doesn't make any sense to me. As I said before, I have my vinegar bottle and my measuring cup (already marked at the proper 20-gram level) sitting right here on my kitchen counter. It takes me only MOMENTS to take my vinegar.

That is amazing, for the rest of us normal humans we don't want to have to carry around some bottle or other stuff, and then drink it out of a straw LOL

So with out having it in a pill it is rather doubtful that people will stick to it.

The only way that supplements works is if you do it every single time and don't ever skip.
