Just a super curious person. I am fascinated by psychology and what makes us tick. Being honest. You don't learn if you don't ask questions. I rather ask then try to infer.
Did you not know that people are horrible judges of their own character and often dishonest about relating questions, sometimes willingly sometimes unwillingly? Be honest.

I am not judging him. I am actually on his same wavelength to some extent. Does it bother you when I ask him questions? You seem to be bothered by it. Be honest.

I never said you do, I said humans have a hard time making estimations about their own character and that it is thus not very useful to ask them what type of person they think they are. I'm not bothered. What makes you think I am bothered though?

But if you distrust all testimony about people's inner worlds, that leaves you with radical skepticism. It also arguably leaves you with radical skepticism about yourself.

Also, we can treat people's testimonies as information without completely trusting them.

I'm sure these things did occur to you, so are you just being needlessly confrontational? Be honest.
Needlessly confrontational sees to be the main theme of this forum recently. I think people just like the sport of turning on someone if they can. It's happening in our world internationally as we speak. Thank goodness we have some decent people on here that avoid such needless confrontation. Maybe there is some hope for humanity.

There's the saying 'Don’t listen to what people say, watch what they do’ for a reason.

Is it not strange that you feel 'confronted' if someone is asking you questions instead of the other way round? Wouldn't it be logical to assume then, that this whole interview formula was a powerplay on your part then? Be honest.

I didn't realize asking him if he as Asperger's was a big NO NO!. And I was not asking him what type of person he "thinks" he is. I asked if if he "knows" if he is. Big distinction. I seriously don't know why I have to explain my motives now. You really feel I was violating some kind of code on here when I asked him some questions. Do you think it would be in better taste to ask him by PM?

I am just a naturally curious person. Why does that seem to agitate you so much?

How do you know it agitated me? Be honest. And didn't know you were such a curious person. Good to know. I think we have more in common than I thought.
