It would be very useful to have a kind of badge next to the known knowledgable members names like noisettes who admin or the other members choose to be able to have a better idea of what information can be trusted for new memebers/ lurkers
Likes. Like to dislike ratio.

I used to have hope... The problem is that this is seen as a non problem to everyone who isnt experiencing hair loss. People who don't have hair loss don't feel sad or sympathy for the people who are except sometimes with women who go bald it's probably not always the case but I kinda noticed the women with alopecia universalis get the spotlight every now and again but maybe they don't thought I saw a couple videos? If you mention male pattern baldness people laugh that your concerned about it like it's a non thing then they go home and desperately check their hairline and crown for signs counting falling hairs for a couple weeks just to make sure. I think a maintenance treatment better then what we have will come out and that should help most people in the early stages unfortunately at least from my perspective getting your hair back as in horse shoe to normal again... at least we have each other right? :)

I saw this video on YouTube the other day where the guest show where they "detected someone wearing a wig in the audience" and they proceeded to vacuum it off and the most liked comment was "what if the bald person was someone with Alopecia Areata who lost it at a young age, that would be sad!" People are clueless about male pattern baldness.

Damn, that's cruel. You have a point though, it's seen as a joke. Until their hair starts falling out they won't understand. In today's politically correct society there are only a few classes of people left who are fair game, and for some reason 'bald men' is one of them.

Bullshit. Cope trolls here get the most likes.
While I don't disagree with the fact that some memers get likes too, really? Bullshit? No I think it works fairly well. If you have a lot of likes, you've at least been around a while without being a total douche. And typically if your ratio is high, then your posts are either enjoyable or productive. Noisette is at like a ratio of 8, because he only posts really useful stuff. The metrics work, at least 80% of the time, every time. It is too much to say it is total BS.

Likes are a good way to see if people like/dislike, agree/disagree with a post because at the end of the day it is mostly opinion but what I was saying is if there was a way to distinguishing the knowledgable posters who actually know what they are talking about ( still doesn’t mean what they say is true or you agree with it ) I think a lot of people will be able to judge the information better..

For example... Some members saying brotzu will give you sides.. while nobody actually knows wether it will or not, I have no clue if the people saying this are knowledgable and understand the lotion, are trolls or people who think they know what they are talking about etc...

Majority of stuff on this forum is just baffling for people who don’t have a clue about science

yeah I ve mentioned it before, it wouldnt be bad if there was at least a stickied thread where all the actual news would be posted (updates from companies, published trial data etc)

this way those get buried by insane conjectures from posters and repeating "common knowledge" that is often nothing but someones wishful thinking turned into a "fact" because its been quoted enough times

I'm still waiting for a single clinical result from Allergan regarding PGD2 Chrt2 antagonists efficiency on hairloss, they didn't publish a thing for now
Phase 2 is not done .
Cetirizine was tested follow this theories in a 2017 study, you can searches on pubmed , and it did worked .

Follica & Shiseido are the only things that stand a chance of coming out before 2020.

You're talking about this proof ?
A preliminary study on topical cetirizine in the therapeutic management of androgenetic alopecia.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28604133

No numbers, not a single one
I would still be careful with those products, not a real proof that it will work or if this will be sufficient enough
I would wait until they publish a real clinical trial results

Replicel published those numbers at the end of Phase 1 btw, Allergan didn't for Seti and Fevi is not even tested for hairloss, better be really careful here

I got to admit that westonci case is hopeful, at least for maintenance
We can assest that his regrowth doesn't come from the dermarrolling on its own because he only does that once every 3 weeks, and that's not enough to get those results right? The weird thing is that his frontal is still the same or even a bit worse (which could means that this works better for regrowth than for maintenance) than when he started. Also noticeable that he is getting results way earlier than with finasteride or minoxidil, less than 4 months. And think that fevi is supposed to be way more powerful than seti, more potent blocker and longer half-life in the body.
And if I'm not mistaken he said that he is not the only case, that in his private forum another gay is doing high doses like him and is having pretty good results too.
