Are certain types of hair more likely to go bald in the future?

OK, an according to your theory why the sides and the backs don't go bald ? Are shaving resisting zones  ?
It s all around sebum. Sebum is vital for a healthy hair, but it must be created and "eliminated" continously (if not it oxidices and start the problem").
High density and thicker hair aid in this issue by physical contact, and all night we have a contact whith pillow for hours , but only in certains scalp areas. Is it a good explanation for you?
These ideas bring me my theory about cultural aspects of common hair loss where women wore long hair and even in the night the hair of the top scalp can drain sebum, avoidind triggering factor as deteriorated sebum.
OTOH, I have the idea that sebum not only goes outward but inward flow to dermal papilla entering in the same hair shaft (important one in CB and shampoos make moreless nothing), but I can not give you a reference because there is not yet writen, only in my paper.

Cultural evolution as a possible triggering or causative factor of common baldness

Hair of this treatment have all the pilosebaceous unit in good conditions (no inner sebum blockade) and people spend a lot of money on trasplant take care a lot in them, but you know that passing the time can fall.

In addition, as you should already know, the loss and non-regeneration of new hair, according to my theory, does not happen overnight, it can take several years, even five years, for it to be permanently lost. The process of obstruction, physical and chemical degeneration of the sebum inside the hair root is a slow but inexorable process. That is what can happen with transplanted hair.

The tests are more accurate than any other method I can think of. Certainly more accurate than making personal guesses based on relatives.

They'll basically give you a bunch of probabilities, and I think the probabilities are good estimates of what will happen to you.
I did end up getting a 23andMe test and it said I had the lowest possible probability of balding before age 40 (I believe 81% of no hairloss for europeans which was the lowest you could get provided european ancestry) That being said, I did have a few balding genes as well but it seemed to be a bit more positive than negative overall (about 66% positive 33% negative)

They seemed pretty confident about those odds but I'm somewhat skeptical but I guess it makes sense given I don't have that much history of balding in my family

I'm mainly curious about imputing my genotyped for rs6152 which appears to be the AR gene and significantly influences someones' chance of balding

how is your density and hair thickness?
Very bad. Both me and my sister have super thin/low density hair. Kinda strange since nobody else in my family does, even the people I knew that were balding. They all had thick hair. Oddly enough though my hair is pretty dark almost black, but its still thin (which usually you would expect the darker the hair strand the thicker but alas). Honestly my density is so bad I doubt I'll ever be able to get a hair transplant

Pretty sure it comes from my finnish side as I notice a lot of people in that area have the same hair type as me (wispy, soft, low density)

A good example of somebody with my hair type would be Mika Hakkenin or Josh Hartnett

A lot of luck but you are a candidate for hairloss, try to mantain a good scalp condition

definitely thinner blonde/red hair will more likely start going bald. thicker curlier darker hair falls out less. i think asians and native americans have the lowest rate of hair loss.

Dense and thicker hair are less prone to develop common baldness, and also hair lenght is important, ..., see the diference between sexes
