Are your relatives/gf/close friends awared about your battle?

Inspired by situation I encountered right now.

My mother just told be she knows I use finasteride (1 month already) and awared about sides (I do not have).

She hasn't argue about either should I use it or no tho since understands I look like a rotted subhuman without hair. She told she hopes I will regrow to NW2.5.

But I think most of people you know aren't so supportive.

We all know what their reaction would be (the reaction of like 100% of the fullheads out there):

"You're shallow, it's just hair, look, I know this bald guy and he doesn't complain, what about Vin Diesel, etc. etc."

Tell me about it. The reaction I got from my fullhead mother was something like this: "Your grandmother's sister lost all her hair at 20, and look at her, she's still positive and never complains!" And I'm a woman, and women's hair loss typically get more sympathy than men's.

No one knows, only a pastor who's a friend of mine. He's bound to keep secrets, so I'm pretty sure he's not telling anyone.

No one should know about our struggle. It's something a fullhead would never understand. It's always dismissed as vanity, which is not since hair loss is disfigurement. Telling family or friends equals losing a lot of credibility. This can have very serious consequences: loss of trust, loss of respect. It's easy to keep it secret.

If you need to talk about hair loss the forum is here to listen. Don't commit a grave mistake by telling people about finasteride. It's a very scary drug: not many have to balls to take it, and fewer people are ready to respect this kind of decision. Keep the low profile.

that means that you are secure with your current hair situation, and I could not be happier for you. If it was a situation that was consuming your mind you either a) could not date anyone period (me) or b) destroy every relationship you attempt (me).

I opened up to my Dad about it a couple days ago (he has literally 50 hairs on top that he grows out and combs all the time) I SWEAR TO YOU, here are some of his responses -

"it doesn't matter, people shave it all the time... it's in"

" I read an article that women really care about personality the most."

"the chubby body is what women want now a days!!"

I love the guy to death, but f*** ME!!!

People are good at believing what they want to hear.

A very smart friend of mine actually believed his gf when she said that she likes dad bods.

Very smart indeed. After all, it's better to be delusional than face the ugly truth, isn't it?

A lot of guys actually believe girls love confident guys, that they're faithful and honest, and not picky and hypocritical. And guess what?

If the world always gives you what you want, yes, you'll be confident.

And on average, I think girls do like confident guys
