all right,if avodart blocks 98.5 dht,why am i continuing to lose hair

Cause inhibing DHT is only one part of attacking hairloss..

There are a lot of other factors that play a role.. like for example bad circulation. Why do you think we use a vasodilatador (minoxidil) as second treatment?

didn't take you 7 or 8 months jayman,if this $#iT was going to work for me

it would have done something by now

i am obviously an unusually awesome responder. minoxidil will probably start working in 6 days for me.

soon or late you will start losing your hair again.. period.

you are happy today but you will cry like a baby tomorrow. :)

don't see why it would be referred to as kamikaze. studies have been run at that dose and the side effects were only minimally higher, while the results on the hair counts were awesome. expense would be the main sticking point for most (assuming they've read up on the various doses and results)

The vasodilatory effect of minoxidil is not what makes it an effective hairloss treatment.

Other vasodilators do not make hair grow.

antonio...sometimes it gets worse before it gets better....I know for APLUNK who also was on dutasteride...his hair SHED a lot all the way up to 6 months or so before it started to get better.

Just a quick correction...

I had absolutely no shedding up until the 5.5-6-month period. None.

After that, I had some normal shedding.
