Avodart is in GEL tablet form. Cannot be split like proscar!

In the US, if you try to obtain Avodart, and I ALMOST did today, all happy that I was finally going to start this new treatment, until the doctor told me that the tablet is in gel form and cannot be split. If it's not in gel form, it's at least in a form that for whatever reason cannot be split into pieces, like proscar can into 1/4ths or 1/5ths.

Being that this is the case, and Avodart is even STRONGER than proscar,

what do we do!?!?!??!

We can't possibly take the entire pill can we? lol.

I would only start Avodart after you tried Propecia/Procar for 1 year. After that, yes, you take 1 Avodart per day. I am on it as well.

Here's an idea:

Try taking a pill every OTHer day, or once every 3 days, etc. You don't need to take it every day if you want a reduced dosage because the half life of Avodart is many times that of propecia.

Good point Jayman, hey I have been on Avodart every day for almost 4 month's. Do you thin if I went to every other day I would lose anything? I read your bio and you have alot more experience, I appreciate any input. Thanx

don't mess with success. it's only been 4 months but i wouldn't switch doses at this time if i were you. every other day or every third won't maintain as well as every day would.
