Bald shaming simply exists in every f*****g field and every social situation.
I think it's a little different here cause he's trying to make a point about steroid use
Except at the end where he gets his hat pulled off at the fitness expo - wonder if that guy got pummeled after that.

Good looking guy.

I don't like shaming 7/8 out of 10 men because where does that leave us average looking men?

Anyone seen the video? He makes a point that substance abuse makes you bald and impotent. Can't see anything wrong here.

In the fitness industry? Don't know about bald shaming there.

Lot's of guys who work out shave their head. It's really not that uncommon.
Most people who are image conscious over there bodies obsess over hairlines also. it's one of the most common insults I see on bodybuilding forums when someone posts a picture. Always nagging at someones hair despite there bodies aesthetics. Makes you wonder the prevalence in a mans body, when other men are always discussing the state of someones hair when they post a picture.

of course in real life, people are quiet in this regard. But there true color, and inhibitions are always shown through online postings.

I think it's partly cause when there isn't much to insult about the body, then out of jealously you gotta attack something else to blow someones candle out - part and parcel of our broken competitive human nature, as opposed to showing compassion.

Almost all are Narcissists

Act humble, but are stuck up and obsessed with there own image. It tends to go together, narassism, and lifting weights.

I tend to not associate with many people who lift weights, and have zero interest in being friends with most. When ever someone asks me anything fitness related I tend to give short brief answers, and typically never talk about it unless someone brings it forward. I prefer hanging out with hipsters, people in the music scene and trendy people in general who are not obsessed with themselves. educated, and well reversed people who are passionate about real hobbies that take skill.

I hate it so much, and I hate my own obsession with looking good.

Every time someone sees me they know I am a bodybuilder, and it's something that I want nothing to be associated with.

I seriously hate these pieces of sh*t more then anything, because I know what they are all about. We are similar minded, and I hate my mentality in regards to staying in shape, and aesthetics. Especially these losers who are all drugs, not real fitness enthusiasts but junkies. Which is why i refuse to take any steroids over a TRT(tesosterone replacement therapy) dose. Well slightly higher.

I just think it's because everyone has a problem with hair loss.
The fullheads, the balding and the bald, all have this disgust for it.

People have a problem with hair loss because it's most unsightly, even on the otherwise good looking.
An "ugly" image has always made folks, no matter how tolerant or intelligent they are, uncomfortable.

And an affliction that makes another humans face "ugly" (hair loss), really rubs people the wrong way.
I mean, we have to look at a person's face when we communicate with them.
So constantly being hit by that "ugly" image just triggers something inside us.

That's my theory.
And Shook is right. People show their true feelings about the hair loss sufferer on anonymous forums.

This too, and it's pretty much a requirement to be on gear if you want youtube subscribers to earn money. Even if you have a good physique you still won't win the Mr Olympia if everyone else is a user and setting the standard to an unrealistic level - youtube fitness guru's have succumb to the same.

Interesting, very honest.

I suppose I've been lucky, most of the guys I've known or met from being in the gym (for only 4 months now) have been pretty humble about it, I'm sure you've known 1 or 2 similar, that simply treat the gym as their meditation and looking good is a by-product. I do think some just have the mentality of treating their body like an experiment, whatever works is more rewarding because their intentions went to plan, not so much about looking jacked (or at least, not ONLY about looking jacked).

But after my initial desperation to talk about gymming I can imagine coming around to your mindset. Actually I'm not far off the equipment needed to just work out at home, and I do once or twice a week, I enjoy it way more, I doubt by September I'll be renewing.

Well as the youtube commentator mentions, Martyn has no choice, if he admits it then he loses his sponsors, and possibly subscribers.

Personally I don't see a problem with steroids at all, we may as well look at any supplements as aiding you to compete better and build stronger. If people want to use them then fine, they can be used safely within reason, I don't have that choice as it will accelerate my hair loss.

On top of that there's no way I'd want to look anywhere near as bulky as Martyn.

There are ethical concerns when promoting the use of anabolic steroids. There are certain serious health implications when considering the usage so the promotion of these products are seriously problematic.

Well not to say I have no problem with them at all but if a user is responsible in how they cycle roids, I don't see steroids as a particularly dangerous drug. Some people just go overboard, obviously I have a problem with that, and wrecked their internal organs with years of constant abuse. Judging from most youtubers including Martyn, you can tell from their body composition that these guys know what they're doing, and are taking an optimal amount of steroids without the need to go insane on them, including cycling them as well.

I know it's easy to look at Martyn and other freaks and go "well he's overdone it a bit on the roids" but that's not exactly how they work, taking higher and higher volumes will not necessarily lead to a ridiculous amount of mass and definition.

Wow, that represents a significant change in your thinking.
