Omg. I was diagnosed and medicated for schizophrenia because they thought I was imagining my hair loss. I had not lost enough hair for people to notice yet but still. If they can diagnose a disease as serious as schizophrenia that easily something is very wrong with the diagnostic criterias.

My grandmothers sister has Alopecia Universalis since 20, so not genetic. My maternal grandmother is balding but not severely and she's in her mid 80's. I guess it's only me that has noticed she is balding, the rest of my family just believes she has naturally thin hair I guess. Then there is my late grandfather's sister who is NW7 but we hadn't seen her in years so nobody knew until recently.
