My brother was also experiencing hair loss may be because the shampoo.
I think it is much better not to use a shampoo.

Can anyone answer following question:

I have been on minoxidil + finasteride for almost 8 months

Pro's:
I am not shedding anymore as I used to.

Con's:
I have only applied minoxidil to my temples these past 8 months. All it has done is thin the temples out more. The minuturisized hairs have all fallen out and i don't see any regrowth...

Is there any hope for my temple area to restore to baseline or better ? :s

Or should I just try Avodart to restore it ?

From what I read miniaturized hairs falling out may very well be preparing to grow back stronger if you have been experiencing an overall shed.

I really hope you are right :s ! guess I'll have to wait it out a bit longer ...

I'm still thinking of switching to avodart if I don't see any regrowth in the temple area at month 10.
