Firstly the numbers in your image don't surprise me, and there are a lot of other cultural reasons than the sexual revolution. Let's look at the amount of time women have before deciding on marriage, and obviously you'll see a correlation between why women are apparently now f*****g a new Chad every other day.

• The average age of a single woman getting married in 1971 was 22.6 years old, now it is 30.8 years old.
• The average age of a single man getting married in 1971 was 24.6 years old, now it is 32.7 years old

There are way, way too many variables in this rather small insight into human behaviour to try and equate it to a persons general happiness which is arguably immeasurable anyway. In a short space of time we've gone through such a huge social change and collective narcissism that our ideas of happiness have changed drastically, but as it has been such a short time for such dramatic change, to me it is not reasonable to make the judgement call that this is the wrong way to live and our simple bliss before was correct, but rather we'd have to see how we could possibly overcome such social disparity.
