Baldness Sexual Attractiveness

If someone is pretty tall and in excellent, well built, toned shape, how much do you think that off sets having pale skin and being bald? I just mean as far as looks go.

I know character, personality, humor, anc confidence all count big time for attraction but I am just referring to first impression looks.

I appreciate your honest feedback.

women are attracted to how you make them feel about themselves not what your hair looks like. if they feel better when theyre around you than when theyre with anyone else
then theyre going to want to be with you.... :smack: it amazes me how many guys dont know this.

Sean68, what if we dont have the confidence to make women feel what they think deserve to feel?

confidence is just an energy. some people are born with more of it than others but you can make it yourself. you just have to keep doing things that take courage and from that you get confidence. its really that simple. being 'courageous' isnt really as intimidating as it sounds, all it means really is doing the what you know to be the right thing in any given situation. its scary making the decision to do the right thing sometimes but overcoming the feeling of fear is what gives you the confidence - youve transformed the energy of anxiety to the energy of confidence.

Hell yeah it helps bro! If anything I would assume that height and fitness trump hair, full head or not, any day. Not only with women but it helps in dealing with men also. I work with an NW7 guy who stands about 6'4", he's in his early 50's mind you, but he is robust and dignified looking with his bald head and his gray goatee. Like Sean Connary. He certianlly out testosterones me whenever I'm in his vacinity and the ladies seem to adore him.

Me on the other hand, I am short and pale also, and rather scrawny. I assume this is why I don't get treated with the same sort of reverance as the tall bald man I work with and possibly because I'm less than half his age. I think that if I were taller and more robust then people would automatically write my baldness off as simply a by-product of my manliness. A perfect match to my height and my big chest.

But that's just "if"....

In my experience a huge percentage of women mostly in the 20-35 range love men who are tall and well built with shaved heads. (as long as you can still see the hairline intact) Im not so sure about NW7 bald, but women who are around 35+ don't care at all about a mans hairloss. But who is interested in 30 something women anyway?

I would love to shave my head down as it really suits me, but my temple recession is much to large now, it just makes me look OLD. You need a good hairline to pull of the bald look. This is what many people dont realise.

You need the line of the hairline to still be visible. There is a big difference with men who shave by choice and men who shave because they have too :nono:

Its the former women are most attracted too :nono:

So by your logic, I wont be attractive until I am an old man. As I am a Norwood 6, with no hairline at all and it's shaved bald completely. Right?

By his logic, yes, but his logic is bad.

There is NO hard and fast rule regarding what women feel about baldness. None.

We, as men, are actually lucky, in that many of the qualities that women like in a man are things we can change. Often women are attracted to things like confidence, ability to provide, body characteristics, intelligence, chivalry, etc.

Attractiveness is a scale, not a checklist.

A friend of mine sent me a picture of a wedding he attended 2 days ago. I could upload the picture here, but that would be invading someone's privacy.

Anyway, the bride is 25yo, I've seen her in real life and she's hot. The guy is 40yo, completely bald, his facial features are nothing special, he doesn't look like he's been to the gym for years, and he's shorter than the bride. The only special feature he has is a fat wallet.

In general I respect women, I really do. I hate it when my friends refer to women as b*tches, but I really hate b*tches that are after the wallet instead of the person. Such women make me lose my respect for the women, I feel like going out and sleeping with the first woman that I can find and kick her out the next morning.

I will try to keep faith in the womenkind for now, and wait for the one that makes me happy.

On the other hand, I bet many 35+yo women are saying: oh look at that bastard, he has money and he's got a trophy wife. Women probably hate men for the same reasons....

As I said, I haven't lost my faith yet and I still believe there is someone out there that will make me happy, and I will make her happy... The same goes for the rest of you. There is plenty fish in the sea. At the end of the day, all of us will find someone.

I think some cases you can change. I agree with you. But you can't give yourself confidence if you don't have it. Otherwise who would not want to be confident. I think you can be book smart. But no one can learn "street smart" or "common sense smart". You either have it or you don't.

False.

Otherwise who would not want to be confident.

Well, you certainly can't conjur it out of thin air. It takes work.

But no one can learn "street smart" or "common sense smart".

Again, false. All these things require experiences. You have to put yourself in the situations and expect to learn from your failures. The only way to learn how to catch a ball is to have someone throw one at you.

I disagree. People are born with certain traits. For example, seeing blood and guts makes some people queazy. I hope I spelled that right lol. Others, like those who end up working in surgery, it doesn't bother. I have seen plenty of injuries and blood in my life but it always makes me feel the same. There are genetic characteristics that you don't have control over.

Just like some people can have charisma. Others want it but just don't have it. You see certain actors who just exhude charisma right? You don't think other actors want that? Actors who have studied and worked longer and hard at it but never come close to touching it?

Yes and No.... I don't agree with the examples you gave. Our ancestors were hunter gatherers and before urbanisation everyone slaughtered animals at home. So, seeing blood and guts is more psychological than genetic. My grandfather used to have a farm, and as a kid I was used to seeing blood all the time, it never bothered me. But I haven't seen an animal being slaughtered for more than 15 years and I don't feel comfortable now. The argument that some of our traits could be trained is true.

For me confidence is about working hard and having lucky breaks in life, I don't believe in fate. Sometimes it doesn't matter how hard you try, it just doesn't happen. Sometimes, being in the right place at the right time can change your whole life. If you just sit there waiting for something to happen, it won't happen. We have to work hard to keep our body and soul fit, and we need the right training for our jobs. A person that works hard for the correct life style massively increases his/her chances of having a lucky break.

A good job, good looking girlfriend, etc, are some of the characteristics that give us confidence. To get a good job, we all know that we have to work hard and sometimes get lucky. To get a good looking girl, again we need to keep our body and soul fit and hope that we bump into her at the time that she is available and willing to have a relationship. So there is a big luck element when it comes to the right girlfriend.

Luck is in our genes. One night our parents decided to make a baby, and the lucky sperm and the lucky egg happened to be in the right place at the right time. So, our whole life revolves around the probability of something happening, and increasing the probability to our advantage.
