Yes, it gave me small but noticeable gyno too unfortunately. I think my short term memory has suffered too, but this could be unrelated to propecia.
Before taking it all I had heard was the weak erections, so the side effects are definitely real. The first time I jizzed after being on propecia I was like wtf, it had the same consistency as piss and about the same amount of feel as it exited my dickhole. Googled watery semen propecia afterwards, and yep saw 1000s of results.
I was taking 0.5mg every other day which I reduced to every third day, and the symptoms remained although slightly lessened. I was also finding small jelly like lumps in my jizz which really worried me. My girl noticed how watery my semen had become and asked me if anything was wrong. Eventually these symptoms lessened but never went away completely. I should really have stopped there and then, but the desperation to keep hair makes you do stupid things.
The gyno came after about 9 months when I ramped it up to 1mg every day. This is when I decided to quit completely, I could jsut about live with the shitty erections and lumpy jizz but gyno was the last straw. Tapered off to 0.5mg eod, and then to every 4th day then once a week thinking all the symptoms would go once I completely went of but of course they didn't completely.
Things are definitely better now 18 months later, but still not 100%. The gyno required 6 months of raloxifene (which is meant for post menopausal women and osteoporosis) to reduce my b**ch tits down to a level where they weren't completely noticeable whenever I wore a t shirt. Surgery is still required to remove them completely. The orgasms, erections and semen quality are greatly improved but not like how they were prior to me ever taking one of those godforsaken pills.
All in all, not something I'd advise anyone to take unless they knew the risks.
