He says "soon to be 35". The man is only 34!!! He is 4 years older than me and I would say he looks old enough to pass for my dad. That is insane. If I look that old in 4 years time I'll freak out. Someone told me a few years ago that when you reach your thirties you start to age very rapidly so before I turned 30 I started researching all these reverse-aging methods and I utilized them, such as exorcising, cutting down on cigarettes, eliminating alcohol, eating lots of kiwis and strawberries and broccoli and carrots, drinking a tall glass of ice cold water the moment I wake up and many more strategies. But I'm straying from the point...

That guy, that guy, I can't believe he is only 34. I don't wholly attribute his looking far older than his age to hair loss, or to his weight; I don't know what I attribute it to but oh my word how is that man only 34! Stunned, so I am. Stunned.

Look at his skin, he's not wrinkly, no crows feet, forehead is quite smooth. It's not his skin that looks old. He's obviously obese, that doesn't help, but it's the grown out NW6 and beard that screams 40-50 something. Imagine him with hair, he might actually look about mid 30s with hair, maybe a little older, 38 or 40, but he wouldn't look 45-50 if he had hair.

If he shaved, was not obese and didn´t have the beard and the professor glassses, then he would look way younger. There are many factors that contributes to his old look. A full head of hair would still make him look old, if the other traits were intact.

Is there any research or articles behind washing your hair every 3 days?

Mine just SEEMS so greasy after just 24 hours, I've taken pictures and it doesn't seem so bad, maybe I'm imagining it. 2 days and I need to wash it.

I understand the other idea is that it takes a bit of time, but I don't want to walk around with grease head for any amount of time really. Should I start moving to 2 days, then 3?

And also, what about after exercising? Just run water on it instead of shampooing?

There are plenty of articles and research about the benefits of not using shampoo. Shampoo strips away the hair's natural oils. I haven't used shampoo in around 6 or 7 years. I've never used any products in my hair that needed to be washed out. So I only rinse my hair—first with warm water then with cold, because the cold water closes the follicle to keep dirt out and it makes the hair shinier. When you stop using shampoo your hair will look really greasy for a few weeks or months but after that it will appear and be much healthier.
