Some look better, some don't. I guess the guys who are forced to shave came out looking okay, while the others looked worse.

A lot aren’t bald, just full heads shaved. Most who have that Bronson bald head and beard look worse/ridiculous.

Nice finding. A good part of the gentlemen in the pictures really do look better bald.

This IG account shows how much face and head shape matters. Cheekbones, wide jaw, small and well-shaped head, stubble, these are the factors that can make an NW2 on a guy go unnoticed. A guy without these features, however, can look unforgivingly bad even at NW2.

This Instagram is a joke for so many reasons:

- Only 5% or something of these guys look better shaven. That's coming from someone who actually doesn't mind the bald/rugged look.
- Many of these pictures are super tainted by the angle. The tougher looking guys smile with hair and look serious without it, and most of the twinks do the opposite making it slightly less worse.
- Probably the worst one of all: many of these guys have a shaved head which is completely different than being bald.

Does that mean all of these guys are total losers and should just kill themselves? Absolutely not, a bunch of them look decent to even very good. But this complete nonsense that "bald is better" is such a retarded cope. It's almost never "better".

I mean, you can't see his face in picture 1 and he has that beta grin on his face in picture 4. And picture 2 (the one where he looks best) he looks super tough and his jawline is like TWICE as big as the other pictures. AND to top it all, he's still far from bald (granted, he has a massive forehead so it's not as bad as some of the other pictures).

How you can look at these pictures and conclude "bald is better" is absolutely beyond me.

"Bald is better" doesn't mean that it is better than having a full head of hair but that there comes a point in your balding process where shaving it DOES look better. Which, for most guys, is beyond a NW3. Even a NW3 for some is stretching it.

Modern hairstyles accentuate hairloss. If it was trendy to grow your hair out like in the 70s or 80s, a lot of younger people wouldn't suffer as much nowadays imho. Fauxhawks require a lot of density and reveal the hairline whereas other haircuts can hide it until you're in your late 20s.

The guy in question does look better imho. His hairloss highlighted his already immense forehead. In the second picture, you can see how - eveni f his brows are raised - shaving it can reduce that effect and even your face out.

I think that the "caesar" cut is extremely effective for low norwoods. Covers up minor recession/thinning while keeping the trendy look.

Guys, NO ONE looks better bald, just NO FU**ING ONE. on earth.
The best you can say is that some people looks better shaved, and even that, very few imo. Even if you have shitty hair charactaristics you can somehow cut it and style in a way that looks decent.

I always look on fullheads that do a buzz cut and think to myself what a waste.. Why do you cut your fuking hair dude?

There is a huge understanding problem going around.
"Looks better bald" do not mean you start looking handsome in a matter of minutes by shaving head,compare to other people.

Trimming hairs or shaving of head results are analysed with respect to the BEFORE look of the guy.

Compare Before and After pics of baldies and you will understand why this saying exist.

Trimming of higher norwood 5,6,7 level head will 100% look better than any diffused balding head.
Same with shaving of head.
Shaving of head have made many young guys look decent compare to receding hairline.

I have a horse shoe.
I do not shave my head,due to cultural reasons and shaving of head will put me in that guy category.
I live in a small city.
