LOL Do you ever have anything substantive to say? You post something as important; then you double back on yourself and say it isn't important. I call you on it. But you wait and wait to actually explain what you think is there, and resort to insults when exposed.

You are amusing to me.

Really? Where did I say that? I've consistently pointed out what isn't important about the study from the outset, just as you have consistently ignored it

Interestingly, Dr. Proctor commented several years ago on the same study that I cited:

http://groups.google.com/group/alt.bald ... 3dee?hair loss=en

In a discussion about finasteride tolerance, he wrote (with respect to androgen receptor sensitivity): "here is more on how androgen receptors themselves might adjust." Which is essentially the same thing that I said.

It is, however, preferable to refer to tissue sensitivity rather than the more controversial receptor sensitivity, because it is much more inclusive in terms of processes that can be regulated by feedback.

No. I meant what I said. Why don't you tell us the reason you think the quotation should read stupidity.

Yeah, he's pretty much pinpointing the use of the adjective, and although by today's standard English, we would want to use the nounal form, the adjective is best in this case.

Dave is correct.

Oh, dear lord. You object to the quotation on grammatical grounds? Let's hear your "word" on the English language. Other citizens of England can rest assured knowing that Britannia doesn't speak on behalf of his country.
