I've been trying RU with different concentrations and I think that the maximum amount I can take is about 25mg/day. According to various anecdotes on various websites, 25mg/day is not enough for regrowth. I've used this for about 3 months continuously and i've just been merely maintaining. 40mg+/day RU results in daytime fatigue and deteriorated sleep quality (interestingly, no sexual sides) after a week of continuous use. On 25mg/day I still shed about 20~30 hairs per shower (baseline >50) and I feel that RU is losing its effect; on 40~50mg RU the shedding would drop to approx. 10 per shower.
I've now been using CB at 25mg/day for a week and the shedding per shower again drops below 10 per shower. As for now, no side effects. While it's too soon to say if CB performs better than RU, I definitely feel that I have a better mood.

That's great news. Surprising too that you have such results on 25mg only (I was told that 5% is the minimum you need to see results)
I'd be more than satisfied to have 20- shedding per day. 50+ is where I am now...
I am considering trying CB again. As I posted before, previously I got mine from a fishy local source and I only tried it several times before my scalp simply felt not right and I dumped it. It came with carrier with unknown content too. This time I need reliable source and carrier.
(Side note: do CB group buys still exist at all? Are we still looking at Kane?)

You can buy from Wuhan or Kane. Both tested to be pure and they deliver it quite cheap. Although it's possible to get CB-03-01 at $35-40 per gram.
You don't need a reliable carrier really. The cream from cosmo isn't anything special too as described in their patent filings. The molecule is low MW and lipophilic in it's nature. It will readily penetrate the stratum corneum with ease.

Yeah a big groupbuy just finished for him I think it was about $70 per gram. Wuhan is around the same I think.
The thing is both of them still make money of you. Therefore CB is attainable cheaper. Just pursue the stuff, use your negotiating skills and you'll get it for $35-40 per gram. I don't have time for that plus not interested in CB. Groupbuys should be on a non-profit basis anyway. Wuhan, Kane, Ziom etc are commercial vendors but they do supply perfect quality, whether it's setipiprant, RU or CB-03-01.

Thanks CB. Do you know of people who are still using CB qfter 6 months?
long story short: I had almost 0 shedding since the beginning of 2015 until end of May 2016. My longest period ever.
In that period, everything happened in hair terms: stopped oral finasteride in May '15, then tried various stuff (saw palmetto, etc.), then started finasteride gel in Aug'15, tried OC, then stopped finasteride gel Feb 2nd '16, started CB and low-dose oral seti. During all of this, my psycho stress has been constantly high, with terrible peaks.
In the period on CB and seti, I was very concerned about losing ground. Checking every day, and some days I tolerated what I was seeing, others I didn't. Then, at 3 months off finasteride and on CB, I started "admitting" it was not so bad. My derm confirmed that I was maintaining... or even improving a bit.
Happiness and confidence, then a couple of weeks later this f*****g shedding started. It's like I'm paying back the 0 shedding for the last 1,5 yrs.
As I reported in other threads here: mostly thick shafts, from both male pattern baldness and non-male pattern baldness areas (rather, more in the latter); looks like a "normal" Telogen Effluvium.
Had this kind of crap every now and then in my years on finasteride, wasn't happy, but wasn't terrified either.
Now I'm very worried, as anyone on the experimentals unexplored ground.

Wuhan sounds familiar (a city name actually). I'll definitely look into it. I'm in China and getting Kane's stuff is so much trouble.

And for the sake of discussion, do you think CB could affect normal hair by blocking T altogether? T has its function in keeping hair healthy too.
