The generic? I pay $35 U.S. for 60 tablets. 60 * 4 = 240. So approximately 50 dollars a year for Finasteride.

With shipping - $65? Something like that.

Strange. I have to admit I am extremely suspicious of your analytical.

There is no analytical method to detect "microcrystalline cellulose" or "pregelatinized starch" or etc. since these are not chemical species but rather qualitative descriptions of ingredients.

I don't think those are analytical results, at the very best that is a list that somebody got by researching the product. I don't beleive that anybody analyzed your sample using any analytical methods.

So don't. That's what I've got, and I can have more information later. If you want the molecular formulas, I wouldn't even know to begin with that sort of thing.

You don't have to use the generic, though it is perfectly safe. It is your opinion and your decision, and I totally respect and understand it. I had the same mentality when I started and used only Merck produced U.S. finasteride.

http://www.prescriptionskeywest.com sells the U.S. stuff.

I do not appreciate being called a liar. Things like this are why the good posters leave.

I didn't call YOU a liar, but those are NOT analytical results.

Honestly, the thought that crossed my mind was that somebody at your wife's company looked into it and gave you an ingredient list verified with somebody at the manufacturer rather than peforming an analysis. Experts are like that when they get "dumb" requests. I wasn't thinking that you were lying.

The only thing I know is that those aren't analytical results.

I realize you did not call me a liar, but I still felt there was some insuinuation.

Further, I acknowledge you may very well be correct. I was not there when this was found. However, since these "results" are hand written on a piece of paper with just a simplistic listing and no measurements and such, I can understand.

That being said, as soon as I know more about the process, so will you. I can virtually gurantee, though, that those results will match anything else I can test.

Again, as for molecular structure, I wouldn't know where to begin.

Oh, I dig, the only two things I was interested in was that the stuff was proven good (so I can buy it without worry) and I thought you found a lab that I could send my European minoxidil to on the cheap. If I sent my minoxidil to one of my labs I would not tell them what to look for and have them run for organics and semi-volatiles (I haven't even checked if it falls in those classes) with a library search and it would cost me over $200. Which kind of defeats the purpose of getting cheap meds.
