Just wondering those experiencing chest pain while using minoxidil, what kind of pain is it and in what region?

I've been taking min for over 2 months now and one week ago while running I felt this shortness of breath and sharp pain on the lest side of my chest (right atrium region, but also radiating to apex of the heart region). Afterwards the sharp pain stopped, but there a dull pain even when breathing. I went to the doctor and he said that it's most likely muscle pain but he checked my blood pressure and it was pretty high 150/90. I'm in really good shape, and work out 4-5 times a week so I thought this was strange.

So just wondering those that have chest pain, can you describe the pain? And other factors if you know them like blood pressure and cholesterol level.

I had an odd experience that I now attribute to Minoxidil. Several months ago, I started having concerns about side effects, in my case temple fat loss, as my dermatologist noted this in me and said I should consider a filler.

Doing some research, I saw all these other concerns, not only cardiovascular but changes to the skin, pore size, even acromegaly.

Got my list order from Dr. Lee and decided to cut the 15% Xandrox with 5% CVS minoxidil, making a 10% solution. I also mixed up some7.5%, figuring to taper down to 5% over several months.

Almost immediately after cutting down to 10%, I started experiencing chest tightness and difficulty breathing. Now I am thinking this may be a sign of Minoxidil withdrawl. After 2 weeks, the symptoms stops.

When my bimatoprost order comes, I intend futher dilute what I have into 5% sooner than planned. I have already gone down to 7.5%.

I will do 3 months with 5% AM, 2% PM. Then 3 months 2%/2%. After that, 2% once per day for three months then none.

I have accelerated my taper to get off minoxidil asap. I just hope dutasteride, azoles and bimatoprost are enough to prevent any loss from stopping minoxidil.
