Haha had me for a second there.

I suppose a hugely successful acting career, a past (and present) of great looking girls, healthy children ETC are just meaningless when you don't have hair to enjoy it all with.

The point I was making, was that a good looking guy (I'll say previously good looking, for the sake of argument) who has lost his hair, will still probably look better than someone who isn't quite as good looking, but has a full head of hair. I don't think the line between having women drool over you and not having women drool over you is a good indicator to how much of a freak losing your hair makes you.

I never said bald was beautiful, hair loss is nothing but negative, otherwise I wouldn't be here. It sucks. People generally look worse without it. However, it doesn't make them magically ugly. A person's actual face defines their looks, the hair does nothing more than frame it, which can go a long way in making someone's good looks come through more. Jude has a full face though and it isn't lost on a bald head.

It's funny how most of the comments were like "he's 38, not 28" etc. Yah well try to be under 30, much balder than Jude with a very much less attractive face... I'd love to have that much hair when I'm 38. My whole top is thinner than the front part of Jude Law's hair.

Always! In those pics taken a year ago Laws hair looked very good when it was grown out. If I was to grow my hair out like that I'd look like a clown because my hair is so thin on top. I can't grow it more than a couple of centimeters or else it looks ridiculous.
