Confession: I cope by feeling pitiful about myself

You may see other people doing stuff, but you don't have personal experience of it. It's like if you have never been in real love, only read it about or seen it, not the same thing is it?

Yes I would ultimately choose 25 but it still doesn't answer the question regarding which is more painful. That's what 2bald2young was asking.

Imagine being poor or having everything and then losing it. Which is worse? It's not that easy to answer.

To me the fact that you'd choose 25 ultimately over 16 implies that it would be less painful overall to go bald at 25 then it would be to go at 16 . Why else choose 25? Surely you're choosing the option that you find most comfortable (I know comfortable isnt the right word here but I cant find the right word atm).

Anyway it's not applicable for me anyway as I do take advantage from my hair right now soI do know what it's like to have a good head of hair, even though I might not experience this for long.

It's because losing some hair at 25 is all I know. I think logically, everyone would like to keep their hair longer, 25 over 16. But I still don't know if that answers which is more painful for reasons discussed. You would have to interview many people. It could be that the younger people have had longer to assimilate and not knowing anything else. Compare losing a limb as a 2 year old to a 30 year old. Sure we would take losing it at 30 as it's much later, but who will have it harder? Definitely the 30 year old. There would be a distinct pre and post phase to his life.

What's your age and Norwood?

Good luck with your treatment.

Yeah you do make some fair points. And obv, you're just going by with your experience and I'm doing the same thing, so we might have a hard time truly understanding eachother.

I'm going to post pics in a week or so when I find the energy to do it, but I guess I'm something like NW2-NW2.5? My hair looks decent but there's already an apparent V. I tend to see things worse than they are though so maybe Im just NW2 without any furher flaws. I'm 17 y/o. Loking at my brother and my father says enough tho, father was a NW5 in his mid twenties or so and my brother is a very diffuse NW2 despite being on RU and finasteride...

Thanks man, I wish you luck with your treatment as well.

I have my story up, somewhere. I am like 12 years older than you though with a receding hairline. I will keep tabs on your progress since you are just starting!
