Considering Spironolactone 200 Mg A Day

I'm also scared of a possible minoxidil shed. I'm afraid my dutasteride gains will vanish. I read a lot of positive things about oral minoxidil, though.

Ever thought of increasing your current dosage? If finas doesn't work out, then you can always go for dutas.

I’m already on 1mg ed. I’d rather just switch to duta. I think increasing my fina dosage would be marginal at best.

I heard of minoxidil bottles. Sounds gross to be honest...

It tastes like a bad watered down vodka lol. Its alooot cheaper just to drink the liquid at about 5mg - 10mg one bottle will last me about 5 - 6 months!

What about shedding on oral minoxidil?

Shedding was pretty brutal, lasted about 3 weeks. I wouldn't touch any minoxidil without giving current treatments at least a year first.

I've been pretty absent, because of university and work.

I want to chime in to tell you guys that dutasteride (0.5 mg ED) and oral spironolactone (200 mg ED) = A MIRACLE!

I'm 3 months on oral spironolactone and I already have much thicker hair (I had diffuse thinning hair around the top) and massive regrowth around the temples (unfortunately, I don't have a very good quality camera, so I can't provide you with hairline pictures). However, I have a picture of the current state of my hair. According to my dermatologist I'm a good responder to the drugs. No gyno or any other side effects at all.

Note: this is a personal experience. It may or may not work for others.

Do you know for a fact it’s the spironolactone and not dutasteride?
