I saw a balding guy on the dance floor, he could not be more than 22 years old although he looked older to everyone else. Had an nw3 hairline with a huge bald spot on the crown and he look so awkward and out of place that it made me sick to my stomach because that would be me without the treatments. It wasn't just the fact that he was severely balding but you could tell he was very nervous and uncomfortable and was desperately trying to fit in with everyone else who was nw1.He was the only bald guy there and i can now see just how much it would effect your interactions with the hot young women. I had to get that of my chest because i haven't stopped thinking about it.

Tough as he is young too and it sounds aggressive. If he was drunk and you got talking to him, could have told him about the big 3!

Doubt he would of taken action he didn't look like the type to do something about it. He reminded me of a bad time in my life and i felt like smacking him across the head lol.

He also might have been offended lol so best not to. But you never know what he is really going through in his mind. He probably feels crap about his hair from what you're describing.

I was at this huge event-concert few months ago, with my friends and there was this young (under 25) guy- bald, clean shaved(bic) all alone in the middle of the crowd just dancing all by himself with his eyes closed, probably little drunk..there was a buffer space around him.. This guy wasnt ugly, maybe a bit short. I observed him for a while. it was ****ing sad and depressing, at the same time it was pathetic and repulsive.. I guess I was only reflecting, knowing this could be me..
At some point, he stopped this cute girl that was passing through and said something to her.. she janked her arm away with this angry look and she was gone.

It always upsets me when I read stories about young balding men severely struggling with hair loss. The fact that Androgenetic Alopecia even exists and that the genetic disorder will inflict anyone who's destined to get it without choice and having any control over the condition is already enough to prove that life simply isn't fair.

life is never fair, its what you make of it

Obviously, of course life isn't fair, and it certainly isn't perfect for everyone.

It's true that in life, it's what we make of it, and we can make the best of it that we can. However, it's not easy to deal with a problem or problems that we never even chose to bring upon ourselves, and then having to put up with it. Like I previously stated, life isn't perfect for everyone and we can only make the best from it, though you can't make a life of paradise either if you suffer from a problem or problems that you never even chose to bring upon yourself, like baldness.

i agree completely, going bald is bad enough as it is, but going bald young sucks. NW1s just hvae no idea, even my friends dont realise my situation.. 'just grow out your hair' said by so many different people.. they don't realise i'm thinning badly and when i grow it out it looks so ****ed hence the 0 buzz shaved head.
not going bald is just one less thing you don;t worry about. and since hair is such an integral part of a male or female's appearance, especially their facial structure.appearance, going bald accentuates both bad and good features, but visually shows everyone you look like a ****ing retard.. so sick of it -_-

going back to the original post, being an avid party goer myself, the amount of bald people you see out in clubs or gigs with people mainly under 30 is like 1% tops if that. makes you stand out like a light in the darkness, but in a ****ing bad way. its like telling all the girls in the club to stay the **** away from you

I see you have quit the minoxidil finally winny. I was thinking about it trying it on my bald hairline areas, but may delay it a month or two. You're right in what you say man. Are you sure you can't grow it out though? That picture you once sent me, it seemed like you could at least do something better than a zero buzz.

i can't handle seeing my hair diffused especially after a shower
when i was suicidal depressed last year i wouldnt have showers 3-4 days in a row because i couldnt handle seeing how thin my hair was. i might not have a super bad hairline, but having a naturally big 4 finger forehead on top of a high hairline already accentuates any receding, let alone the diffuse thinning i was facing
seriously i could try grow it out but i tried for a good semester of uni last year (so 3-5 months) and it was so ****ed.
its ridicuously thin it makes me so ****ing sad
my uncle who had his 60th, has a son my age so turning 24 this year, and he has thick hair nw1. -_-

Well guess what! I was answering an exam today and was waiting for them to distribute the papers. Meanwhile i started aggressively brushing my hand through my hair and managed to have 50+ hairs pulled out in the span of 5 minutes. Oh the wonders of male pattern baldness sheds :D Put me in perfect mood for the exam....

Honestly, you're doing all you can to fight it. I know it's not thick, Norwood 1 e.t.c but try and let go of the mental block. I do believe you CAN grow it a bit more and that length would help your forehead too from what you're describing, not that it's bad or anything. Just a little big. I know you tried growing it but maybe you psychologically didn't like it and it didn't look that bad objectively. Grow it and post, it might be decent, could help you mentally.

I don't think it's that diffuse that it needs a zero guard but I could be wrong.

^ Was that picture taken with a flash and in lighting? How is it day to day walking around? It looks pretty grown out there. I would still buzz it but not on no guard.

i think finasteride has definetly reduced my shedding cause in the shower after putting conditioner in my hair i was losing easily 30-50 hairs in my hands, but now when i condition barely 5

but yeah i like to keep it 0 shaved.. and thats what it'll be till the day i die

Give finasteride a year, can take two. Plenty of hair there still to work with, it ain't slick.
