I can tell that I'm thinning, but how do I rank in terms of the scale? If I start proscar (.5 or 1.25mg???) now, and it works, how much worse would this look?

Seriously, I'd do Nizoral 3x weekly and 1 mg Finasteride daily . Nothing more. You really don't have any major issues, and I can't tell if you're really balding.

I can tell he's balding easily. But his hair looks great. I would also agree with nizoral (2-3 times a week) and propecia (1mg daily). No need to get messy.

My friend has nearly the exact same hair, but I won't say anything to him. It's kinda mean but I hope in a few years I have more hair then him =) His dad has a massive comb over, lol.

I can tell you are starting to bald but consider yourself lucky. You are catching at a very early stage and you live in a time where there are things you can do for it. I wish I had the same things available today 10 years ago. I most likely would have most of it still.

That crown swirl is completely normal.. Pull your hair back and lets see the front.

Yeah.. I don't get it either. There's no way to tell if he's losing it with those pictures.. you can't even see his hairline.

Scalp showing? Please.. I've seen 5 year old kids with more scalp showing at the crown.

you have 0 hairloss in the back. hopefully you are not concerned about your crown but your front. You may have hairloss in the front, but you gotta pull that mop back and show your hairline. But yeah, hopping on propecia couldn't really hurt. At the very least nizoral should have only positive effects (however marginal) First off - is baldness in your genes

hmmm really? i can have sex like 5 times a day, and am still a walking hard-on. If anything i'm popping more boners then ever in life.

check out all those clinical studies on pubmed. I definately believe sexual disfunction is highter then the <5% claimed in studies, but there is no way possible that sexual disfuntion is higher then 10%-15%. Furthermore it goes away with discontinuation of the drug. There are probably a handfull of guys with long term problems, (polarbear one i think...???) and these guys are extremely rare (probably .0001%).

if this guy combed his hair backwards i'm sure we'd see thinning areas. my hair situation is the same as his. combing it that way is a good way to conceal it. i can see the scalp and thinning near his crown in the frontal picture. can't any of you? that's what he's worried about...look at the top of his head. you'd think since your people are losing your hair, you'd notice it immediately. use minoxidil for that problem and you'll be fine. i had the same situation and i'm doing fine with it. good luck
