For the last couple of months my alcohol consumption went straight up. Currently I am at about 5 bottles of wine per week.

The last two days I did not drink any alcohol at all and I actually have to struggle. I have been abstinent in the past and while it felt like something was missing, I did not crave alcohol that much during that time.

Now it is becoming really difficult. Any advice?

I don't think 5 bottles is much.

Move to France and you will be normal.

But seriously, if you think its an issue then cut back a little. Maybe just go to 4 bottles next week.

I'm alcohol free since 1 year. the best thing what i ever have done.
Alcohol is a drug from the hell .

I wasn't an alcoholic. But I've been drinking almost every weekend. If I don't drink alcohol at all, I feel 1000 % better, both physically and mentally.

It's just that substances put you in a vicious cycle.
If we want to really cope with life we'll have to work hard and make fundamental life changes.
But we're all so lazy and spoiled that we seek the easy way.

He was always very private about his personal life.

I don't even know that much about him myself.

But either way, I'm biased. I saw him attack a bunch of posters on this forum before - he was the main antagonist over zircon quitting - so I don't like the guy.

Even so I think he'd prefer his life not to be mentioned so I think its best not to mention anything.
