some people on the greek forum used ciclosporin (neoral sandimum oral solution) some years ago. One guy reported great results the other one said he had a slight improvement

Guys, there are limits. Nothing is more important than your health. Cyclosporine is a limit that you should not pass. Are you really going to play with your immune system ? really ? Even using topical corticosteroid topical will give you great results and is much, much, more safer than this that you will have to take it orally or apply it with dermaroller that will me it to go systemic.

I am tried everything you can imagine, isotretinoin, oral spironolactone, oral minoxidil, named and I tried it. But Ciclospotine was the limit. You are really going to regret it.

Didnt know that Cyclo was carcinogenic, thank you for pointing this out @DHTpolice .
Sad because it's easy to buy and not too expensive.
I don't see anybody selling WAY316606 on Alibaba.
But if Cyclo carcinogenic, strange that RiverTown is incorporating it in a possible future treatment.

That is not the only problem, you are shutting down your immune system !

The main problem is only 2/8 guys got regrowth on it in the study.

Plus yeah it's toxic. A 75% failure rate for a drug this toxic is not impressive. Saw this slide too. Read the research. Forgot about it. Not impressive to me.

I totally understand your concerns.
still very strange then that rivertown doesnt seem to bother about it.
Lets say you dermaroll and apply.
wouldnt it mainly stay local if you use the right lengte of needle?
hitting the hair follicle but not the lower blood vessels?
It does sound tricky...
i really cant judge the effect of a low topical dose...

Life is complicate it per se, there is no reason to complicate it more. There more chances to get seriously health issues than regrowth your hair back. If it reach the follicle and don't get systemic by using the right lengte of needle, we don't know . But there are so much more interesting things to try, like ketoconazole cream, for example.

Plus, the results on the show photo are not that amazing, not at all.

I agree with the comments above, this drug is dangerous for your health, especially for the liver and the immune system and you dont know how much can reach your bloodstream if you apply it topically..i wouldnt touch it..

They use clycosporin in RiverTown Therapeutics RT1640 topical formula which also includes minoxidil (because clyclo has a similar mechanism as minoxidil in prolonging the anagen phase of hair follicles). Although I had heard clyclo has some terrible side effects, it does look like it works well in conjunction with minoxidil.

Sorry, I was not clear. They didn't take it orally, they applied the oral solution on their scalp.

Now regarding ciclosporin it has a MW of over 1000dalton if I m not wrong, may be this is the reason there are no systemic side effects with topical application (at least shorterm noticable)
