So.. you try this ‘way’, you grow your hair back and you’re happy, after 6 months you get cancer, you go to chemotherapy, you’re cured of cancer, but you lose all your hair due to chemotheraphy.

Nah I will pass, duta looks fine for now.

Even Cyclosporine is used topically for eye dryness. Apparently it doesnt go systemic at low doses

I dont think we should be that scared yet.

I tried for almost 2 months ... no help for the itchy scalp :'( (it was cyclosporine from Lyphar - 150 to 500mg)

I tried orally and topically (with dmso)

You may have tried Cyclosporine but I bet you didn't try the drug that the thread is actually about. Lemme guess, you only read the title.

The title is wrong. Moderators, instead of banning people who offend you maybe you could be of assistance for things like this. *hint hint*

The drug is WAY-316606. It can be purchased online apparently but it's pricey. Still, if it grows hair that quickly ... this could be pretty big news.

The drug name is way-316606. Cyclosporine A is the drug from the 1980's that comes with side effects. U can purchase way-316606 offline. Its $215 dollars for 10mg!!

Can you provide a link to where it's being sold for $215 for 10mg?

"And researchers found it also inhibited a protein, SFRP1, that blocks a molecular pathway, WNT, vital for the growth of many tissues, including hair"

Isn't this the same strategy that Histogen is using?

When and if a real treatment ever materializes for androgenetic alopecia, no one is going to pay the slightest mind because of all these “potential” “breakthroughs” over the years.

I will be completely numb to an actual cure.

Since inhibiting SFRP1 only facilitates Wnt signalling through ligands that are already present, this ‘ligand-limited’ therapeutic strategy for promoting human hair growth may circumvent potential oncological risks associated with chronic Wnt over-activation

Thank you Captain Obvious.

I just said I tried Cyclosporine A and it didn't work. That's all. I didn't say Way-316606 won't work.
f*** me you actually did? What dose? topical or oral? liquid or foam? wtf. Whats your Norwood?

So If it didn't work, I guess there's no point in getting to excited for this. This may be another thing works 1 in under 1000's cases for some reason.

he is retarded.
wanting to save his business.

Lol WTF? This paragraph say it all

“If you have a genetic predisposition to male pattern baldness… you’ll have DHT receptors in those follicles. So as soon as those become active, those hairs will cease to exist,”

Press should stop asking hair surgeons about new experimental drugs, they even fail at explaining the basic pathogenesis of androgenetic alopecia
