Hi there!

My current regimen is Revivogen in the evening/minoxidil morning and evening

In the last weeks i noticed some dark cycles under my eyes, but cant exactly say how long i have these already. Does anyone of you guys have similar experiences or other eye problems? I didnt have these under finasteride (i guess so), but dont take finasteride anymore (changed to Revivo).

Any comments? Will this stay? =/

Drink more water im talking like 5L a day. Dark cirlces usually occur do to poor hydration. Maybe its finasteride related but water defintely helps.

Thanks for your response!

Hm, ok ill try that. But doesn't anybody think that this could be minoxidil/Revivo related?

As its Highly unlikely when you use finasteride, its hardly like afterwards.
Maybe stress or bad food/sleeping habits? Thats usually does that. Or age, but that is a slower process of course.

Havent heard this about minoxidil/Revivo, even though I´ve heard some reports of possible sides from minoxidil.

Well, i never said that this side effects was caused by finasteride ;)

And it's true, i dont sleep on a regular base, sometimes less, sometimes more. So this may be the reason. But i had these phases before as well.

So anyone thinks this could have been caused by my current regimen?

I know, was reffering to mhdude. :)

Sometimes its just genetics. I very easily get dark cirkles, both thanks to genetics and the fact that I´ve sometimes have bad sleeping habits.
The "worse" your genetics are on that part, and the older you are, the more you have to fight it with living healthy.

This includes:
Drinking water (as mentioned)
EATING - never eat just once a day or tenths a day for that mather. Allways atleast breakfast, lunch and supper, then whathever in between (fruit ect..). Eat fruit and vegetables most every day as well.
Work out - Not as in weight lifting and similar, thats good too but what is really good is jogging/walking and stuff. Should do that for every day, atleast for a little while. The days you dont really work out, you should atlest walk/run for 15 mins or something.
Sleeping - different from people to people, but 8 hours is generaly good. And: dont f*ck up your sleeping habits. Sleeping between 3am - 11am is not good. If you work night shifts or something; make sure you think its worth it, as it will screw with your body.

It's best not to listen to this idiot.

Drinking 5 liters of water a day will do you no good, and possibly flush water soluble vitamins out of your system. 2L a day is good, and all you need.

Dark circles under the eyes are a documented side effect of minoxidil. It may be the minoxidil, or maybe you just need to sleep better.

What alot of garbage! Its not a well documented side effect at all and you say I pull stuff out my *** :shakehead:

To the OP trust me man. Drink more water, 5L is safe to drink if you do it staggered through out your entire day, not drink it all at once like idiot powersam is suggesting.

THOSE DAMN FACTS:
No benefit in drinking eight glasses of water a day, scientists say

...

The idea that drinking eight glasses of water a day is good for your health has been dismissed as a myth.

I just wonna know if these cyrcles are caused by my regimen or not. =/

quite a few other people on various forums have reported the same side effect as you, from minoxidil.

do you apply it after a shower/while your scalp is damp? if so stop doing that, and only apply minoxidil to a completely dry scalp. maybe try once a day application.

I very much doubt drinking 5 litres of water a day will do anything except wash electrolytes from your body and possibly even rob you of important water soluble vitamins such as B complex an C vitamins. bubka just gave you a link to some info supporting the assertion that 5 litres of water a day is not beneficial.

Well, i'm gonna try to reduce the daily dosage a bit.

Do you guys think it will go away after some weeks of usage? May it even be caused by Revivogen?

Is it caused by a special indigrient of minoxidil? Maybe PPG (Polyethylenglykol)

Anyone?

Hello Amsch,
I am sorry I can't offer you advice on the dark circles. I would however be appreciative if you cpould offer feedback on the effectiveness of your regimen? I just started using minoxidil and have considered revivogen. What type of hairloss do you have? I have diffuse loss. Where do you apply the topicals? Thanks. Sorry for not offering advice on the circles, wish I could help.

hey timallen:

I am a Norwood 2 - 2,5 with a bit of diffuse thinning. I have my regimen for about 5 weeks now, and my shedding has been pretty dramatic in the past weeks, especially in the frontal area (behind the hairline). However, i hope it's a good sign and i'll stick with it for another 2-3 months.

I just ordered Remox III for my hairline.

Hope i could help, as said, it's to early for me to tell.
