Of course I don't find one in every corner, but when I do it's inevitably shocking.

Sure but I've just never seen one, whereas it seems like nearly everyone here has a story of a bald teenager they knew or met or saw.

I think you just never noticed balding men before you yourself started losing hair. So maybe no examples exist in your memory, even though you probably have come across them.

Nah I started balding hard in high school (was a thinning basically NW3 at 17) and I went full hawk mode on everybody's hairline in school and elsewhere, but still I did not see anyone in their teens who were slick bald, vast majority still had thick NW1. Maybe I saw a NW5, but idk how old he was, there were people in their 20s in the school as well.

I'm just shocked at all the stories of people being fully bald in their teens that people have, I just haven't really seen it.

i know exaclty one who shaved it at 19...
a lot more who lost a lot at close to 40...

nw6? i have yet to see the masses of men in their mid 30s with nw6...

Its still rare but it's obviously pretty normal to be bald at that age. Most with nw5+ genetic destiny have significant hair loss by then

I only started noticing bald people after having hair loss myself, and literally each 4 men I see on the streets 2 of them are bald. Yesterday I was waiting at the bus stop and a lady approached me with two men (they were twins) who soon I found out to be her children. She asked what time it was, and said something like "Thank you! These boys are both 17 but act like toddlers. I told them to bring the watch but they ended up forgetting it!" Now guess what? They were nw6. f*****g nw6 at 17 years old. I really felt sad for them.

Wait u knew their ages? Even I was only nw6 diffusing at 17. Still horrendous but at least I wasn't totally bald. That's got to be like 1 in a million and I was 1 in 1000 baldness level

Their mom told me their age when she was talking to me. A nice lady, she was.
