most fellas with success stories on treatments tend to disapear forever. I guess hairloss hasn't been bugging them and they are doing great with their lives.

Yeah I've heard that. I really wonder if the treatments work so well for some people that they just forget they were ever balding at all. I mean some months it seems to me like all my hair is back and it will stay that way and then I go through a shed and its the end of the world.

Calling Dokomo, come in Dokomo....Would love to get some updates on your progress.

Also, Bubka, you'll be interested to know (I hope), that I'm giving up on the laser pointer as you put it. It still falls under the warranty so I can still get my money back. Perhaps I'll build one myself like some of the others have and use it in conjunction with the big 3.

Although I won't say it won't work for others, it hasn't given me sufficient enough satisfactory results for the money I paid.

Sorry to the rest of you for my digressing. Bubka is a staunch anti-laser comb activist and I thought he would like to know that I'm starting to agree with him, at least partly.

To get back on track, I'm considering going on Fincar (generic Proscar) to go with my regimen. Anybody have any experiences with the online website "Inhouse Pharmacies"? I'm looking in to getting my Fincar from them and I'm wondering if any of you have had any negative experiences with that company. They seem to be relatively cheaper and you do not need a prescription. Thanks for any input.

Re: Very pleased so far...(pics)

Hi guys...I haven't posted in a long time because there hasn't really been any change since my last update. Everything is still looking good and my measly 0.5mg of finestride a day is keeping my hair nicely intact.

I think it has been close to 3 years, and I imagine since I stopped regaining hair I will start to slowly lose it around the 5 year mark, if not sooner. At that point, I will probably up my dosage to 1.0mg (or get on dutasteride), increase rogain applications to twice a day, use 2% Nizoral (as opposed to the 1% I'm using now) and see if I can't keep my hair for another ~3 years. At that point, it will be 2011 and technology will be able to restore my hair to circa 1999...right?

Seriously though, finding this site and deciding to start battling my hair loss was one of the single greatest things that could have happened to me. Even if I do eventually lose the fight, I managed to go from feeling completely terrible about what was happening to me on a daily basis to not even thinking about it anymore...not to mention I will have been able to delay the hair loss until after I was finished with graduate school and starting a career, so that now I feel much more at ease with the idea of going bald.

Thanks to everyone who has been supportive, and good luck to those who are fighting the good fight.

Paves Professional "Flawless". I've only been able to find it at Walgreen's here in the States.
