Dissolving finasteride in alcohol....help.

I just received my fincar in the mail and bought some Everclear (190 proof) to dissolve it in for easier dosing (no need to cut pills), but after letting the pills (2) soak in the alcohol, they have yet to dissolve.

When I had brand name Propecia a few months back, I dropped it in regular 80 proof vodka and they dissolved right away.

What's up with that? Do I need to crush it up before I try to dissolve it?

Uhhhhh......YES! Crush it up thoroughly into a powder, then stir the powder well, or shake it up in the Everclear.
