Do hair vitamins work at all in combination with Propecia?

I was refering to finasteride being an accidental discovery for hairloss treatment, I just worded it very poorly.

I think the only thing that was a surprise about finasteride was how little it took to do the job.

Sadly it doesn't work for everyone. It would be awesome if it did. How long did you take it for and did you take a baseline picture?

I think taking the first picture is very important since the minds eye and mood can effect what you think your hair looks like.

Well I have been on finasteride for about 16months or so and minoxidil for about 4 years. I made gains in the first 6 months, but I was having stong laser treatment as well. It begs the question, if finasteride and Min don't work, then do we really know what causes hairloss?...

Which surely means we don't what really causes hairloss?

Well I think it is official that DHT is the main culprit, but there are certainly other causes. Some people may just be less responsive to finasteride/minoxidil or their hereditary predisposition to hairloss is much stronger.
