Do I need to start taking Finasteride after my hair transplant?

I personally wouldn't take finasteride.

As long as there are no side effects it's OK. It got me through my 20s and 30s. Even in my 40s I'm still not ready to let it go but being full bald at 28 would've been too much for me to handle.

You can't know if one will have side effects, not to mention long lasting adverse reactions that will go on after stopping the treatment. A cosmetic issue is nothing compared to the harm Finasteride can cause.

At the very least, patients need to be well informed about the risks before they make a decision.

No it's not. If you were good looking at 25, you will still be good looking at 50, not as good obviously but still better than an average/below average guy the same age. Look at guys like Pierce Brosnan and Brad Pitt

That's why the 'looks fade' thing is nonsense when choosing a life partner. Maybe at 70 they truly fade.

I've seen women in their 50s at work who I thought are attractive in a mature way.
It's not that common to be truly good looking though, brad pitt is top 1% in looks. Most people go from average to ugly in old age.

How do you know this? How old are you?
You know some dudes get aggressive balding in their teens and early 20s - I was one of those. My pattern is NW6. I have collected up to almost 8k grafts through transplants and a bunch of years later my hair is still completely fine, have no shedding, no inflammation, etc (it all stopped once I got bald).

PFS is very real and has nothing to do with transgenderism. Being trans does not negate the risk of getting a chronic inflammatory autoimmune neurological disease.
