Hey guys, does this look like it will prevent any further loss?

Xandrox 15 % plus 1.0 ml - 1.5ml per night

shower in morning-

Prewash with nizoral 2 % leave on 1-2 mins
Revita shampoo leave on for 10 mins
Nano shampoo by proscar Leave on for 3 mins

Multivitamin-

Megaman GNC
Saw palmetto

Been doing the whole thing for 2 weeks plus now. no idea if it's doing anything yet obviously.

I'm not that fussed about regrowth but if that could mantain it would be great. do i have a chance? i'm 21 years old. hairloss started at the start of the year.

If you want maintainance use finasteride.

i wish it were as simple as that. You and I both know finasteride has side effects. :/ Hair and Libido/erection. I think we know which is more important.

xandrox plus has topical finasteride, but not sure if it will do anything

Have you actually tried finasteride?
If its so bad then why are millions of men using it? I myself have been on it for 5+ yrs with no sides.

I think Xandrox15-plus alone has potential to stop hair loss, but everyone responds differently...

Also, I don't think Nizoral will be incredibly helpful if your application is only 1-2 minutes.

Saw Palmetto can have side effects too......natural doesn't mean "side effect free".

the only true hairloss medication is finasteride, no matter how much people likes to think different shampoos is helping. And even if they're helping it is most of the time in combo with finasteride

Yep I've said it before finasteride is the daddy of all treatments its 10x as effective as anything else available.

but guys ffs DHT dosn't just exist to make our hairs fall out. A Major reduction in it definitly can't be healthy :/ People who say they get no sides, are you REALLY serious? How can your DHT be dropped by 3/4 or whatever it is and you not feel it?

Well the Dr who I get mine from has also been on it for 11+ years and he told me that DHT is mainly there for development during puberty and that any reductions in DHT will be met by an increase in normal testosterone levels. The body has a way of regulating these hormones to compensate.

All I know know is that although I started too late for any real benefits I have seen plenty of guys who caught it early and have saved themselves from becoming high up on the Norwood scale with no obvious side effects.

And if it was me and I had the choice of bald or hair and even some mild side effects I'd take the hair.

DHT has other functions too... it's involved in bone tissue formation, for example. We probably don't know all the things DHT does.

But, for many people the potential harm in reducing DHT is worth it.

In my view, finasteride is far and away the best treatment if you can tolerate it without side effects.

The majority of users do not get side effects, and they get to keep their hair - or at least keep it for longer - without feeling any different than if they were taking a sugar pill.

You might be in that category. Or you might get sides. You won't know either way unless you actually try the medication. And if you do get sides, you can always stop.

There is one reason why you might want to do differently, and that's if you fall into the camp who believe that finasteride can harm your body without you even realizing it. There are some people who believe that one can take finasteride for years without feeling a thing, and then BAM - their endocrine system is shot. That's a legitimate point of view, and there are some tentative indications that it could be the case - although from millions of users there are very few reports of problems. In the end it's a risk you have to assess for yourself, and, once you've done that, to take or to pass up.

P.S. A note on saw palmetto. This site is quite negative towards it, and for good reason (it's not as effective as finasteride, for sure). However, I can say that I've had some success with SP, and I've also never had sides on it. I've had two trials of finasteride, with varying doses and brands, and I've always had sides.

Iif the sides were ... itchyness.. occasional dizzines, maybe i'd tolerate the sides. but the fact they are sexual: man no way am i messing with my sexual function. I bet alot of people have a decrease of libido on finasteride but just say "oh i won't count that as a side, no big deal afterall"

I'll stick to xandrox for now. funny, i think i had ball aches for the first few days of use. Like i couldn't concentrate in class because of it. it went away after 2 days though. My sexual functions are still perfect though, so i have no idea if that was placebo. It was perhaps.

Fender, I hope you realize that the amount of finasteride in 1 ml of Xandrox15-plus could lower you serum DHT levels by up to 40%

It's good if you want to fight hair loss. But you sounded concerned in your previous posts about the effects of finasteride and the importance of DHT. Topical finasteride has the same systematic effects as oral finasteride, they just aren't quite as potent.

Fender. The fact is that the majority of people don't feel sides. And even if there ARE sides, the vast majority of them are mild and will disappear after you stop the drug.

Coming from a scientific standpoint, you won't know how you'll respond to it (will you maintain hair? will you get sides? etc) until you've tried it. Either way, I can put down a hundred bucks saying you won't get struck with any horrible side you cant get rid off.

And look at it this way. You alter you body chemistry in so many ways but don't give it a second thought. People don't get enough sleep. They consume too much sugar. They don't exercise enough. To me, these things have more dangerous and long-term effects than taking a finasteride pill.

You're writing as if the sides are guaranteed. They're not. Most users carry on without feeling a change in their sexual function.

Boondock, it's very commendable that you still speak highly of the drug even though it gave you sides. Normally someone in your shoes would say how awful it is. How long should i keep using xandrox 15 plus? in 6 months if my hair hasn't got any worse ican assume it's helping?
