I'm starting to look for a job too and it's no picnic. There aren't alot of help wanted signs and even the mediocre places to work are full up. It just sucks out there, but being bald doesn't make it any more fun. :(

I do have a job, but I really don't know if I want it :(

I'm sending the papers off next week, and probably start working full time in march or april :sobbing:

I got so used to working from home that I don't know what it's going to feel like being in an office again. At least I'm going to have more stability in my life :)

I still want to pursue my own interests, but I need the money so I have to take a full-time job and do my own stuff on the weekends.

This may sound too philosophical for a hairloss site, but at what stage in our lives are we supposed to give up on our dreams and work for the system? I think i'm gonna end up working 40 hours in the office, and probably do my own stuff for another 30 hours a week. I have to be realistic and admit that I can't keep that tempo for too long.... So, when do we give up?

I can rephrase this question in another way... When all the hairloss treatments fail, when do we accept that it's not going to work for us and admit our fate?

Run your own bidnass

That's what I've been procrastinating on starting. I'm just woried with the economy bad maybe I won't get customers. But my boss will work me MWF, so I can start my business on the other days and see if it goes.

Thank god the online gaming industry is basically recession proof, and im making bank.

Killzone may be the reason I finally dust off my sony.
Fo shizzle. I was jealous of anyone with an xbox, since Left4dead came out. I've always wanted to play a good survival zombie game but Sony never released ANY. Resident Evil is 3rd person and just too japaneese. The gameplay is just not the same. I will be checking out RE5 next month though. Oh well, KZ2 made me forget about all that. Now xboxers can be jealous of us. Bald Helgan pride!

Yea I'm clearly way more nerdy then you.

I have the 360 and the ps3.. I'm also building a new pc gaming rig.

Have you tried the RE5 demo out yet?

I love resident evil you should definitely check 5 out. It takes awhile to get into though, and the controls can be frustrating. Especially if your used to life COD4 or Any other mainstream FPS really. But RE5 is full co op and supposedly this makes the game just about amazing.

Haven't played the demo for RE5 or KZ2. Killzone 2 will consume me, I just know it. I hope they patch in some vehicles for online. Can anyone say mechs? Oh I almost forgot. How do you insert a link to like a youtube video? I want to do it for another thread but don't know how.

Haven't read through this whole thread.

Once your hair loss reaches or passes a certain point you lose hope really. Nothing's that effective and it's depressing to see so many youngers guys at the hopeful stage you were a couple of years before. There are hair loss guru's (SAF - are you still here?) who seem to want to devote their time to mentoring and gently preparing guys for the disappointments to come, but most of us don't have the patience for that.

I've gone from moderate to heavy NW3 in the last couple of years, I suppose that's not too bad, just wish I'd got onto it when I was NW2. That's why I'm glad to see so many young people with the beginnings of their pattern loss on here - they caught onto it fast and they'll keep it a longer for being here.

All ive got to say to guys like HP is "get a grip"

Seriously - there's people who would kill to be fit and well to work (not worrying if they have hair and if girls will dig them). You don't need other people's acceptance to work or live you LIVE YOUR OWN LIFE.

Unless my propecia works successfully i'll be pretty bald by 30 myself right now im a 2.5NW diffuse - if i wake up tommorow at a 5NW ill be seriously gutted but only because it'll challenge my confidence with girls. WTF would it affect my relationships with my friends/family/employer/potential employers? LOL

Unbelievable that you have the bare faced cheek to come on here and say hairloss is the excuse for you not living your life. If you have other medical issues (no, not depression that you wine to your doctor about) then that may be different but it wouldn't appear so. There's many self-despising overweight or really ugly people out there that stuggle with this or worse but it doesnt stop them from working,

If you woke up with a full head of tommorow my bet is that in a years time you'd still be unemployed and lazy. You're in a rut and you're stuck in your own head (no pun). If God took that excuse of hairloss away from you im willing to bet you'd be no different (in the long run, anyway).

Get out there and life your life - what hte f*** does hair have to do with relationships with other people partriularly when you already have a girlfriend? Go work, make money and make her happy - take her on holidays, buy nice things, treat your parents - WHATEVER, just enjoy the freedom you're wasting

LIFE ISN'T A REHEARSAL - start today buddy, this is the start of the rest of your life.

I gurantee you. Be happy. "FAKE IT UNTIL YOU MAKE IT" - yon wouldn't BELIEVE how much a smile can do to get the best out of other people - all of a sudden that person in the liqor store migth actually like you and be happy to see you, the guys at the bar may be happy to buy you a drink. Noone likes a killjoy and thats nothign to do with hair its to do with how you project yourself.

PM me if you need some more encouragement mate. I can imagine things are hard but i feel you're coping badly and you'll deeply regret this in later life when you look back.

oh and CS2 or whatever ur name is, you live in a fantasy world

you imply to dont socialise much. It shows. Believe me, even if a give you a NW1 tommorow you'll still have the social eptness of a gorilla. Go sort out your perspective on things because at the moment its so skewed it doesnt have the slightest thing to do with your hair. Instead youre just procrastinating on doing what you think you will later do even though itll never happen like that.

Yup some do. And some others need to stop being so presumptions and stop handing out advice.

When your insecure about something. It effects every single aspect of your life in some way shape or form. Some people allow it to manifest further then it has cause to go. But that's the world we live in.

You can't presume to tell someone what should or shouldn't bother them. Unless you've lived their exact life, had all the exact same experiences, and view the world the exact same way.

There's exceptions to every rule.
