I think without a proper diet micorneedling will not work. I would suggest looking into Dr. Ray Peat and his views on diet and balding. I have switched to his diet and started microneedling and I am seeing minor re-growth but the biggest thing that I noticed after just two sessions is that my hair has much more volume. As in, it actually sits up on its own now and seems to be much stronger feeling. Whereas before, it would just flop flat and not have any bounce or strength. I also shed 50% less in the shower now too. So, I think with a low Poly Unsaturated Fat diet and a lot of collagen intake you will, at least, see your current hair become healthier and look cosmetically thicker. Mine has. I also do scalp massages almost daily, which helps a lot with blood flow. Young balding is more attributed to thyroid health and diet than anything else. You may want to look into Zix too, a lot of people have reported keeping it "dht off their scalp". I am starting that next week, though I'll skip two days after dermapen to not interfere with any of the healing.
